This was fine .. I was annoyed at the MC and thought the motivations were a bit sketchy. I liked the setting of the ren fair. If you want a super light romance with about 2 sexy scenes this one is for you.

OK, after 5 long weeks of Ren Faire shenanigans, I am going to finally catch up on my missed book updates and challenges. But first....Here are my Ren faire looks. Garden Gnome, Pirate, Belle, Ursula, Elf Rogue and Faun.
I didn‘t love this one quite as much as the first book, but it was really cute. I liked how it centered around a different character, but still kept the same people from the first book and followed more of their storyline, as well. Stacey and Daniel are a really cute relationship to read about and I‘m excited to see what happens in the next book!
Well Played by Jen DeLuca is a 4 ⭐️ read for me! A perfect way to wrap up 2023 and hit 50 books! It‘s been a few years since I‘ve hit 50 books so it feels good to get back into the reading groove this year. Shooting for 50+ for 2024! #LitsyLoveReads
Well Met is very easy to read. Emily‘s sunny nature makes for delightful narration (without ever becoming grating), and the plot is perfectly paced. Sure, the characters get a bit Extra at points, but it‘s a romance novel. That‘s *expected*. Full review: https://keepingupwiththepenguins.com/well-met-jen-deluca/
Celebrating our 5 year anniversary with a 10 day trip to our cabin (with our newborn and toddler 😅😂) Hoping to finish this one as I brought 2 others and my kindle as well 😂❤️
Meh. I liked the renaissance faire fun, but the plot had serious pacing issues. We hate Simon, we love &Simon, we‘re not talking to Simon at all, it was hard to get behind the very quick swings. I liked Emily rediscovering her worth, standing up for herself, and discovering family and friends that helped her create a new home.
