Sobering thought. #slowdown

Leftcoastzen Indeed! Too much speeding! 8mo
Hooked_on_books This is why I also don‘t understand stupid pedestrian choices (walking in the road if there‘s a sidewalk, crossing against the light or anywhere when there‘s a car coming, etc). If you get hit, you lose! Don‘t count on drivers to protect you, take some responsibility on protecting yourself! 8mo

It's a nice 65 degrees here in the middle of winter in NY today 🌞 It feels like spring!! Basking in the sun before work and being grateful. I love this book because it helps you slow down and every day just do one small thing every day helps you reclaim your time! And we all know we could use more of it 🧐⏳

I'm at a playcentre today with my little girl and I've packed for a nice long afternoon of being left alone at the table

Paperbacks x 4
Audiobook and headphones
Crochet bag
Drawing book
Phone
Money for lunch

Having a lovely time and enjoying this book I picked up a few years ago, the time to read it has finally come!

Reading Secret New York in the weeks before visiting set the perfect tone for my whirlwind visit. There are so many treasures hidden in a city this vast that you would hustle by them in the rush of pedestrian traffic, unless you knew where to look. A section of the Berlin Wall on display in an ordinary midtown office building atrium sparked a conversation about post-war Germany that wouldn't have happened otherwise. #historymadereal #slowdown

Spiderfelt My daughter plays in a high School Wind Ensemble that competed in a festival at Carnegie Hall. Also visited a friend with a new 👶, and spent time exploring the city with my so. 8y

Walking has always been part of my exercise routine. Always wanted to be a runner but my knees say NO! So I walk really fast (in good running shoes, not pretty one in the picture) w/music or audio book to inspire and get my heart rate up. Walking of this book is totally different. Walking mindfully with no destination in sight. Sounds way more difficult; yet I want to try it. 🐢 #slowdown
