1. If your taking a book meant to be scary the titles tagged. If you mean over all. Living Dead Girl. Hands down. Not meant to be a horror novel.
2. Scream and the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre
3. The Crisp air
4. Literary novel award winners are usually over rated and not approachable for the mass public
5. Any one else. I‘m late to the game.

☠️ Hum...I don‘t read super scary, but I really loved Bram Stokers Dracula.
🎃 The Shining freaked me out as a kid-still get the chills about it. I‘m a mild scare factor person & loved Aliens so if it‘s on TV I‘m watching it.
🍁 The cool down of the weather. My birthday. Costumes & Halloween! Pumpkin everything - lattes, pies, etc...
📚 Paper Towns - John Green hated it

Thanks #spookyautumn @Joy0201 for the tag

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I can‘t ever tag you @amb 😫 6y
Adriannagab 💯 agree with #4. Can‘t help but to love Nicholas Sparks🙈 and HATED 50 shades I didn‘t even bother to read the other books 😷 6y
Bookish_AF 50 shades is the worst!!! And I‘ve only sort of experienced them. When I was deployed one of my coworkers was reading them for fun and so we started having “story time”- where she would dramatically read the sex scenes out loud and then fill us in on the rest of the “plot” 😂 We did this for all 3. 6y

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Adriannagab I only read the first one!!! Ugh I call it “Fifty Shades of Puke!” 6y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @whippoorwill815 I don‘t think I could have listened to that!! Lol 🤢 6y
amb I couldn‘t even finish the first one, after my friend raved about it. 6y

Misery | Stephen King

1. I read a good bit of horror, and I'm not easily spooked by them. But Misery was one of the most stressful, edge of my seat, mind screws I've experienced.
2. I have a few, and pretty much everything by John Carpenter is on that list.
3. I'm in Texas, so it's when you sweat a little less. Cooler weather is always appreciated. Also, Halloween things.
4. I really hate The Catcher in the Rye
5. @ErinSueG

@amb #spookyautumn

Kayla.Adriena Lol I've heard other people say they hated Catcher in the Rye. I love it ! 6y
madamereadsalot1 @Kayla.Adriena it's mainly because I think Holden Caulfield is so whiny. It was very very difficult to get through, that tiny book took me several attempts to finish. I know so many people who love it, but I just can't. 😅 I also didn't like The Perks of Being a Wallflower due to the similar whiny tone. I made it half way and couldn't hang. The voice was too much the same. 6y
amb I co-sign that assessment of Catcher in the Rye you are right on the money 6y
Kayla.Adriena @madamereadsalot1 you have Franny & Zoey on your TBR! I haven't read any other Salinger besides Catcher in the Rye 6y
madamereadsalot1 @Kayla.Adriena Ive only read Catcher too. But I've heard that Franny&Zoey is leaps and bounds better. I need to read it, it's not like it's very big. My TBR pile just grows and grows and I never read anything from it. 😅 6y
