I am sure the kids today would have a lot of criticism about this book, but I enjoyed the world in which being popular, overcoming shyness and getting a special boyfriend were the biggest problem the main character faced. Late 70s early 80s cultural references were a bonus.

Sophie works for a local florist shop & is applying for fashion design after high school. She has to attend all the events in town, but so does Andrew, the new chef‘s son. He tends to get on her nerves in the beginning, but throughout the year, she starts to not mind it.

3.5⭐️ This 1 was a little boring and I didn‘t like the characters very much. It was cute & funny here & there, & I liked the ending. I wanted a little more romance.

This is a super cute romantic comedy appropriate for all ages. I loved the dual points of view and found both Jack and Lucky to be charming and hilarious. The chemistry between them was very believable. It‘s a fun read!

My Princess Warrior and Junior Miss….this is the 1941 edition my library had. It was a breath of fresh air, simple, family oriented, set in 1930‘s Manhattan. The protagonist is Judy who is 12-14, I believe, in the span of vignettes. Quick, nostalgic read.
