Teresereading It‘s interesting, I am trying to recollect if I have studied, read or seen The Tempest performed? 2y

This would have been a pick if not for the ending. Honestly, the whole love triangle thing is very annoying. I‘d rather have seen Tempest grow in her relationship with Kona than keep whining about Mark.
Really ruined it for me, which is a shame as I loved the magic, and the underwater life.
I‘m still going to read the last in the trilogy though as I want to know the end!

I am a proud nerd. I made mint chocolate covered pretzels for Shakespeare's birthday today! Anyone else do anything special today?

Okay I‘m taking another quick break from cleaning because I found this copy of The Tempest my boyfriend found in Goodwill (& decided not to buy because “I won‘t be able to keep the girls‘ attention with this;” YOUR LOSS BUDDY, it‘s joining my classroom library now!) and guys it is SO BEAUTIFUL. Every single page. I‘m obsessed with it! I found it still in the bag & HAD to share it.😍😍😍 #thetempest #goodwillfinds #childrensbooks

Pickpick

This is my first Atwood (!!) and it was fantastic. Literally. The play within a play (within at least one other play, if not more) was hugely satisfying, unreal and hyper-real at the same time. I also value the sympathetic look into the mind of a person suffering from extreme depression and delusion. Highly recommended. #hogarthshakespeare #tempest
