Crime and Punishment | Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky

My daughter has just started reading this, such a great novel. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did when I read it, and that it spurs her on to tackle #TheBrothersKaramazov — one of my favorite books of all time.

I‘m embarking on a journey into #russianliterature.

I haven‘t read a lot of #classics outside of the Bronte sisters, but I‘m at an age now where I‘m constantly asking myself questions about life, love, good/evil, morality, etc. So I‘m seeking out novels that wrestle with these questions.

I‘m starting with #thebrotherskaramazov and then plan to move on to #annakarenina 📚.

Any others you all recommend? Any advice or thoughts are welcome. ☺️

BarkingMadRead This one was a lot. We did a buddy read and read a chapter a day, which made it a lot easier. 7mo

It's time to focus on this beauty and Kletva from August Senoa even though I am dying to read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Other Stories. I want to cry because Malala left me with dry tears in my eyes and I can't focus on anything. Being sick sucks.
