panI teetered between so-so and pan. You can see my decision. I thought the plot was convoluted and the author switched the POV without warning. Sometimes I was half-way thru a paragraph before I realized it was a different character so similar were the voices. Also no time frame was given but cell phones and the internet are not mentioned. If that reflects on my intelligence so be it, but again, there are better books.
Just putting this here...it spoke to me on many levels.

Good morning Littens. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday planned. I'm chilling in the garden surrounded by beautiful blooms and getting a few chapters in. This book is delightful, the characters scream 1940's and AJ Pearce has done a very good job of setting the scene in war time Britain with the clever use of language and phrases...crikey!
