Week 2 is in the books and here‘s what I read.
9 books so far. I‘m counting on week three to be stellar as I have three books started already!
A bit of an update for #JubilantJuly
📚Got caught up with the #pemberlittens readalong for Longbourn
📚Have read a bunch of my #lmpbc book and if I spend a bunch of hours on it, I can easily have it in the mail next week.
📚Almost have finished Pt. 3 of A Promised Land (it‘s amazing how dense the book is)
📚Worked a bit more on The Duke and I and I could have this one finished during the weekend
I realized I never made a #BFC2022 update for April. I did complete and surpass the Trevor Project 50 mile project. Super proud that my city came out on top! I didn‘t complete my puzzle for my self care goal, but it‘s massive. I had to buy a coffee table just to get started 😂 I won 1/2 DietBet games in April. I read 4/12 books. I surprised myself with my active zone minutes average. My work has walking trails so I have been enjoying those 🌸
Hello all! I have been off most social media this last month. Life has a way to bring you down and lift you right back up. I‘m truly okay, and starting to get back to a somewhat normal. I‘m sorry @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I should have let you know for #litsylove i just felt so overwhelmed. I love that group so much, and I‘m working on letters little by little everyday. I hope the group understands.
Update: surgery went well. It was a day surgery procedure so I was home by 5:30 pm. My surgery lasted about 2 hours, was in recovery for about 90 minutes and in post op for about 6 hours before being discharged. I haven‘t read anything since Sunday evening, as I have been exhausted and can‘t really use my left hand yet, as I have a pillow under that arm at the moment. The pain is subsiding, helped by pain meds. #update
Late update but this past week I‘ve been battling a bad sore throat and drinking my weight in tea. I did manage to finish 7/9 books for my #MarvellousMarch goal and depending on how well I am able to keep up with a stop watch I am going to try for either 20 hours or 4 books for #20in4
Lots of things today so not much reading got done, but I hope to either finish or make good progress with Hook, Line and Sinker tomorrow.
Just started the Lost Apothecary and struggling with You Lucky Dog a bit, but will work on pushing through!

I'm halfway through my challenge for the year! I was hoping to be further along, but March just wasn't a good month for me. I'm still ahead of schedule so no worries.

Just an update.... we got all moved in yesterday (one of the coldest fricken days). Have been trying to unpack all day today. Have only got a couple of rooms done. We currently have no internet (stupid Charter) so I am using my data to post this from my phone. Trying to relax a little while I get the little one to bed and watch some old dvds. My oldest goes back to school in hybrid mode tomorrow and we have a storm coming tomorrow night. Fun Fun

Just updating that my #AllHallowsReadSwap package is in the mail and should arrive on October 14th
Belated #bookreport plus a pic from my holiday. This was us about to start a night tour at Zealandia sanctuary. We saw a little kiwi in the wild! Also kaka, tui, fantails, shags and a tuatara.
A week of great books - recommend all of them. The insights in Coconut really stood out. The characters in The Leavers will live in my head for a long time. The 3rd book wasn‘t as strong as the other 2, but still very good.
Sharing my #BookReport #WeeklyForecast It‘s not looking too good 🙄I‘m having loads of concentration issues at the moment. Hopefully I‘ll get my reading groove back, but until then I‘m happily watching senseless US television 😍

Sorry I've been a little MIA Litsy wise! Things took a bit of a turn for the worse last year with lots of different bits of bad news hitting me in close quarters. The final bit of bad news has meant a big lifestyle change and it has been really tough but I'm hoping to sort it out soon.
Turns out I am "pre-diabetic" which means my sugars are high but not quite high enough to be diabetic.

So according to the very nice woman over at Amazon, my package was marked “missing” at 1pm when they got to my house & couldn‘t find the package. Later that night they changed the status to “lost”. Amazon is replacing the kindle, but it‘s out of stock until 8/5. I wanted the kindle for reading on the boat on vacation this week, but it‘s supposed to rain all week, so it‘s fine.
Okay, I just spent the last 3/4 of an hour adding all the books I‘ve read since I went MIA on here. It is now up to date.
