Mehso-so

It‘s that time of the year - March Madness and reading. I always get so much read while having the games on in the background. I‘d picked this up as my mom continues to explore the more holistic approach to cancer treatment. I thought a lot of what he said was interesting but I think the chapter on faith could be problematic for some. I appreciate his messages of forgiveness and that was his experience but he shouldn‘t have pushed God so much

TheDaysGoBy And I say that was someone who does believe in God. All in all though, I appreciate his journey and it did seem well researched 4d

I read a lot of this author's book as a teenager. I don't remember reading this one. It is emotional and telling of what a person can go through. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

A typewriter & an introverted boy are trying to find out what happened to the boy's missing mother. It has serious "Where'd You Go, Bernadette" vibes, but without the humor. I thought it was sweet & loved the theme of not assuming you know what's happening inside someone else's head. Grief & pain can elicit such different reactions from people. The various reactions shown by the family felt so real to me. I loved the story & the typewriter's POV.
