pick5 🌟! This #graphicnovel has some beautiful #illustrations! And they really create an ominous feel, really working well with the story. The story follows Pig, Foxy, and Hippo as they are swept out of their village by The Fog. Pig, as the dam keeper, takes it upon him to return them back home but what they find beyond the walls is not what they expected. The Fog was supposed to be deadly, so how was there another town around? #fantasy
I watched the short film of #thedamkeeper and it's different in content, I wonder about the message, still enjoying the book, the art is AMAZING #amreading #graphicnovel

pickI picked this up mainly because the main character is a pig and I love pigs! This book is middle grade but the art is beautiful and the story is very intriguing. Pig is the dam keeper, raised by his father who built the dam to keep the dangerous fog out. Pig's mother died when he was much younger and now his father seems to have died by suicide. Can Pig keep the people of Sunrise Valley safe? #graphicnovel #middlegrade #winterreads
