pickBk26 in the DCI Banks series was much better than the last one. Yes, there was still those annoying music references but not as many as the previous book. Plus the storyline was really good, very twisty & he pulled off the different parts of the story brilliantly, plus set up for the next book at the end. pickI loved rereading this one! I don‘t know if I just wasn‘t paying enough attention last time, but I found Poirot‘s expansive explanations less exhausting, more exhilarating. And, as always, I loved all of the scientific detail about poisons!
