The first half of the book was hard for me to get through, although Romina Russell does a good job at building the worlds of each zodiac House. However, make it halfway and things really pick up! The book becomes a bit darker but is all the better for it! “That‘s how we make a difference - we begin with a ripple to end with a wave (p. 274).”

This series really has surprised me. I can't get over how heavy some of the characters stories are, yet it manages to remain so hopeful.
The advise about overwhelming anxiety really stuck out to me in this one.

It was meh. You can read my full review on goodreads. It isn‘t often that I actually wrote a review on there, but I felt like I needed to for this one. If someone else had written it, it probably would have been better. It doesn‘t help that Zodiac was never caught, but I still didn‘t entirely like this one.

I‘m trying. But I‘m bored. I think I like it better when we know who the serial killer is. I don‘t like reading a chapter where the family and friends of the victim are talking about how she was always going out with other men and leaving her husband and baby at home. I am not liking his writing style. May DNF.

@DaveGreen7777 thanks for the blessings. @Meaw_catlady thanks for the idea.
1. I have no idea honestly. I've spent the past few days freaking out and being afraid of my army contract coming to its end, the civillian world, the idea the country may go bank rupt, vaping being band and sending my husband back to smoking. Where would I live when I get out of the army.. you know.. scary things. maybe if I had a plan that I couldnt think of failure.

Zodiac was a good read! It follows some very cliche YA tropes, somewhat unsuccessfully in my opinion. Overall, however, the book was endearing and there are some gold nuggets of truth within the main character‘s narrative exposition. It‘s worth reading and I plan on finishing the series.
