#2 So I just finished this page turner... Truly a riveting read on the years, days, and hours that led to the end of the USSR. Made me think of my undergrad studies with Dr. Barbara Chotiner... #UAPoliSci #17booksin2017

#20: A book that had been sitting on my self since the birth of Charlotte (started it and life got in the way). A fun and well told series of tales that fathers can identify with in the process of childbirth and raising! A quick and funny read! #17booksin2017 #dadlife #newyearsresolutionsaccomplished

A perky, funny, and interesting read about one of the most interesting and successful coaches in college football history. He mixes his life lessons and his own personal narrative together to make a wonderful biography. I highly recommend especially for the sports fan.

Hiddensee: A Novel | Gregory Maguire

In usual Maguire style he explores the front and backside and fills in the gaps to what we've all been wondering around the classic tale of the nutcracker. Another interesting work in character development!

A well written and comprehensive biography of one of the most progressively liberal politicians of the 20th century. Highlighting his peaks and valleys this is a solid choice for anyone interested in the politics of the 1960s and 70s.

#1 As we continue this forward march into a time without statesmanship, I set out to read and learn about those who sought compromise, both Democrat and Republican, and worked towards solutions for the American people. Today, I finished a fine read about a true American statesman, the 38th President of the United Stares, Gerald R. Ford.

King Edward VIII | Philip Ziegler

A tragic figure, however he chose his path and never looked back. What if... Not a hatchet job, yet doesn't go to in depth on certain issues. Comprehensive yet and seemingly unbiased! I'd recommend as it's well written and exhaustive. #17booksin2017 #HRM #dukeofwindsor #EdwardVIII
