FINALLY finished this book! I kept getting bored and wandering off - I even read another (much better) book in the middle. Even when I was gripped by it, I found I wasn't really enjoying it. Annoyingly, I do still kinda want to know what happens, so I'll probably read the next one 🙄

Book shoppin'/coffee stoppin'!
I was forced, FORCED, to buy this as a buy one get one half price because my husband could only find one book he wanted ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think I might give myself a break from Glass Sword and have a go with this instead.

Struggling to get into this one so far, I keep getting distracted 🙈

Recovering from my "Stardust" book hangover, and a very busy few days, by starting in in this one. I wasn't blown away by the first book but we'll see how this goes.

This book felt like wrapping myself in a big cosy blanket, I loved it. I just wish it had been longer!
I now have a very over-complicated rating system, yay!
Stardust gets 15/20 which converts to 4 stars out of 5 (don't ask me how, it just does) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really enjoying Stardust so far, I'm on chapter 9 of 10 and so sad that it's nearly over 😢
I've been loving the chapter headings, I think this one is my favourite 😂

My first Neil Gaiman! 😱 Not sure how that happened but here I am now.
The film of Stardust is a favourite of mine so I thought this would be a good place to start.
Enjoying it so far but not very far in - too tired after the wedding yesterday, I keep having impromptu naps 🙈😴

I'm a bit late for @Liberty 's Fun Friday Photo but I just got home and I wanted to join in because I have this! The v. hilarious late Louise Rennison drew a poo for me 😂 And signed my friend's book that I'd borrowed ages ago, saying I'm a terrible friend 😂 she was amazing, she'll be so missed 😔

At a wedding today down in Biggar and we had a bit of time to kill, naturally we found the bookshop! Lovely little independent, great selection of beautiful editions and the lady was really nice and helpful 😍
Got myself Stardust and The Night Circus...I now want to skip the wedding! 😜

Overall I enjoyed it, and it definitely kept me on my toes! But I didn't really feel like I connected with the characters. The twists and turns were exciting and shocking at times but didn't really have much of an emotional pull.
A good read though, I'll definitely get the next one 👍🏻

I've been hearing a lot of good things about this series recently so I thought it was time to give it a go!

I think I'll need a little while to recover from this one! It ended the way it needed to I think, a really good conclusion to the series.
I found this one took me longer to get through than the first two, possibly a slightly more thoughtful read, less gripping but still engaging 👍🏻
