Felt like it took me a long time to read this but it was a very interesting read. Lots of twists and turns . Great summer read. Very well drawn characters that by the end of the novel, I felt like I knew them all. No managed to make all characters sympathetic, even on opposite sides.

Such a fun, quick read. It was like touring another country. Love the friendship between these ladies and the story was fast paced and interesting. Perfect cotton candy read. Loved reading this from my suburbs.

I don‘t typically read mystery books especially by authors like Catherine Coulter who produce such a high volume of books. However, this was on the Lucky 7 shelf at the library and I decided to give it a try. Parts of it were annoyingly predictable but there were a few twists I didn‘t quite see coming. Overall a good quick summer read.

I needed to plan better this vacation and get more reading done! These books are all due today and are on hold so I can‘t renew!! The only 2 I was able to read # were Woman in the Window and The High Season. Will have to put the rest on hold again. #librarystack. Am looking forward to getting some of these back!

Starting new book as we wait to be let off the cruise ship.

This was a great cruise read. The characters were interesting and varied. It was great to read about the drama of a beach town on the beach.

Debating whether to bail on this or not. 16 chapters in. Does it get better?

I had heard a lot of hype about this book. I Waldo like books with TN connections. This story had me enthralled from the very beginning and I found myself dreaming about Rill and her siblings. This story tugged on my heart strings and was a nice heartfelt summer read. There were some nice quotes about the power of sisterhood. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would!

At first I wasn‘t sure about this book but loved the ending. Stayed up an hour longer than I wanted to last night because I just had to know what happened. Lots of plot twists. Enjoyed having one narrator. Liked the switching between past and present day. Well crafted and suspenseful. Fun summer read.

I normally don‘t read thrillers but this one intrigued me. Always love books about camp and books about female friendships started in youth. Pretty sure I have to read this only in daylight though. Here we go...

Agree completely with the reviews that the first half is slow moving. Furies answers all the questions and makes the book for me. Not my favorite but an entertaining read.

“My life is beautiful.” Really not sure how I feel about this book yet. 145 pages in. Slow going at parts but makes me want to go to an artists retreat and just read all day. Is reading an art? Does art have to result in a product?

What I wanted most was to feel that moment when you‘re on a plane and everyone around you is in their own world, anxious to stand up and open the overhead bin and get ready to start the life they‘ve only ever dreamed of, or renter whatever life they left behind: that moment before the plane hits the ground, when the air starts to hum and it seems like if the impact doesn‘t kill you, the possibilities are almost too much to bear.

On to the next. I don‘t have a lot of expectations about this book, haven‘t seen or read much about it. Happened upon it accidentally and took it out on a whim. Here goes.

Could not put it down, had to know how life turned out for Leni. The Alaska imagery made me want to book a flight.
