Just started it and am pretty sure I‘ve found a new favorite series! 🤗
Just started it and am pretty sure I‘ve found a new favorite series! 🤗
Blue has really started to come into her own in this third book in the Raven Boys series. And the book ends with a hint of more to come in the fourth book. This is probably my favorite so far in the series (and since I‘ve lived all three that‘s saying a lot!)
Time to see what Wilbur Smith has in store for me!
Very satisfying end to the very enthralling Angelus trilogy!
So good! Maybe a bit slow in the middle, but I love the addition of the Krinkle character. And the end of the book....I flew through the last 100 pages and immediately picked up the next book in the series because I just couldn‘t stand not knowing what was going to happen next.
Oooh, I got my book cover and launch day is less than two months away! So exciting!!!
Just started this and am already enthralled. King is the master for a reason 🤗
This book was so good (full of good scary horror)....until about halfway through it became TOO horrific. I was reading in bed and snapped the book shut in a panic (ok, I admit that I actually got up and HID the book under a pile of other books so I couldn‘t even see it). I didn‘t think I was such a wimp but, well, there it is 😂
Started out slow, but the last 100 pages made it all worth it. I couldn't read them fast enough, so badly was I dying to know how it worked out!
Settling in with William Monk mystery 🤗
The middle and end were every bit as good as the beginning. I ordered all of the other books in the series right away, can't wait to start on them!
Just started and already drawn in. This is promising!
I LOVED the Historians so I had high hopes for this, but I'm bailing 100 pages in. It's very well written, and atmospheric, but I'm finding myself bored...I guess I'm just not syncing up to the characters. Maybe for someone who enjoys deep personal introspectives?
I read this book while I was waiting for a friend in Costa Rica (she missed her plane which is why I was there alone, but that's another story!) I was glad to have this book to help me fill the time. The character development is amazing (you really care what happens to them; the ones you love and the ones you hate). The ending is brutal though, really completely heartbreaking. Definitely recommend this is you don't mind a cry with your books!
Ruth Ware does it again (delivers a gripping thriller that is literally impossible to put down, that is!)
I wish I could double-pick this. It started out a bit slow but once it got rolling...wow! The ending blew my mind then made me cry, which is no mean feat. Am now going to get every single book by this author.
I'm so excited to reveal the cover for the second Barnabas Tew adventure! September 4 can't get here soon enough, I might literally die from waiting 🤗
Kitty is excited to start this book!
Another fabulous book by Ruth Ware. I think I've found my new favorite author/obsession. Write more books, please, Ms. Ware, before I run out!
This book was so good it literally tickled my soul. I'm way on the wrong side of twenty-five, so it brought back all those fond (and not-so-fond!) memories of being that age. I loved how the characters interact, and the wonderful way the author has of writing with a wry humor about really relatable things. Highly recommend!
Oh the high hopes I had for this, that were not quite met. Maybe I'd be less of a harsh judge of this one if I wasn't such a huge fan of all Tad's other books...once you achieve greatness, greatness is expected every time. The story is solid and the world building great as always, but it was just very slow...I felt like things didn't get going until the book was 2/3 of the way over (and it's a BIG book!)
Such a great read! You'll love the characters, the setting, the atmosphere...everything. Highly recommend this.
Loved this, it's like a feminist fairy tale wrapped in a love story wrapped in a bit of scary supernatural evil. Divine!
Meet Barnabas Tew, the most unlikely detective you'll ever meet (oh, how hard he tries, though!) . This is the first in the series, with the second set to launch September 4...its an exciting time in the world of our dear Barnabas! Come meet him, and see what he (well, me, really) thinks of all the other lovely bookssessess, too 🤗
This book was EVERYTHING. It grips you from the very first page and never lets go. The ending is completely unexpected it will floor you (or, at least, it floored me!) This is my second book from Ruth Ware and for me she's right up there with Lianne Moriarty (an in, absolutely fabulous)
