Hot DAMN! This book has been rocking my world during my lunch breaks the past couple of weeks. I can‘t wait to read her second one next!

Another @24in48 Readathon in the books!! I finished the weekend by reading 25 hours, 4 minutes, and 53 seconds. I finished 2 graphic novels, 3 books, and got about three quarters of the way through a 4th! I wasn‘t as active online as I have been in the past, but these readathon weekends are so good for my soul! I can‘t wait for the next one in July!

It‘s almost hour 10 for the readathon, but I‘m just now getting up and started. At least I‘m well-rested and ready to beat some records! Kicking it off small to push my motivation throughout the day! #24in48 @24in48

Exit West: A Novel | Mohsin Hamid

This book was fantastic! I read it in about 6 hours last Sunday. I just couldn't put it down. I loved how it felt so real in the circumstances of the government Saeed and Nadia were living in, but it also had an element of surprise. The relationship between these two was also so compelling to observe. The ebb and flow of a relationship that's not always easy was very touching to see. You don't always get happily ever after, real life happens too.

Who doesn't love Gillian Flynn's twisted mind. Every fan of Flynn should read this short story!

#bookofthemonthclub readers knew what they were doing when they chose this read as the best book of 2016. It's so dark and real that you can't put it down! I won't ruin anything but this is definitely an unlikely romance. See it all the way through. I promise it's worth it.

The Princess Diarist | Carrie Fisher
Pickpick

Carrie Fisher is so fun and real and open with everything she does. She feels like the quirky aunt you love to have visit. The odd thing to me was how many times she referenced her death in this last book of hers. She kept saying things like "when I pass.." and "before I go, when I'm old with dementia.." it just made me so sad for her family all over again.

Scrappy Little Nobody | Anna Kendrick

Anna is funny online and her book did not disappoint. I relate to so much of her personality and her thought process. The page that starts out talking about pumpkins is Anna describing her imaginary friends-only Thanksgiving party and it cracked me up because this sounds like the perfect holiday!

I DID IT!!!! #24in48 I completed the readathon with an hour and a half to spare! I started and finished all 5 of these books this weekend! If I could dedicate myself Like this more weekends through the year, I could put a major dent in my TBR shelf this year! 📚#happyreading @24in48

I would say that I've done pretty well today considering that I only hit a little over 16 hours for the whole weekend during the last #24in48 readathon! I've put a pause to All of the Ugly and Wonderful Things for the night because I'm struggling to keep my eyes open, but I'm getting to the good stuff! I'm ready to pick it back up first thing in the morning!!

I love Book of the Month club and I ordered this book a couple of months back thinking it sounded interesting. I'm just getting around to starting it and I can't imagine a better book to end the year with. I'm only about a quarter of the way in, but Kevin Hazzard is funny and writes in a way that immediately pulls you in, like an old friend telling you a long story. This is a book I want to gift to everyone I know because everyone will enjoy it!

Suzze That sounds really interesting. Stacked. 8y

This was my first Book of the Month order and @Liberty sure knows how to pick 'em! I read for almost 2 days straight. It was so compelling and so hard to put down. I will recommend this book to everyone! Ready to get my next BOTM order, I chose another one of Liberty's picks. I hope it's as great as this one!

Liberty Yay, #BOTM! 8y

Shakespeare's Landlord | Charlaine Harris
post image

My favorite series is anything by Charlaine Harris. Her books are easy to pick up and they are such a captivating story that is an immediate descent into a new place when you need a quick escape. The Lily Bard series is my favorite of hers. Mostly because it's set in my state and its such a darker story. My close second favorite is Aurora Teagarden. And I happen to have a couple of signed Sookie Stackhouse books as well. 😊 #24in48 #readathon

Suzze Oh! I adore her Shakespeare series! I remember when she said her publisher was ending it, I cried. Boy, that was a long time ago. Way, way before her True Blood series. 8y

I'm starting my #24in48 readathon weekend with this beautiful copy of The Wizard of Oz mostly because I love the story, and I started it a few weeks ago (just reading here and there) and I would like to finish it. It will be a quick finish and help me feel productive at the start of my readathon!
