I was super excited to get this book from the library but very quickly recognized that there is A LOT of unsafe advice and recipes. It makes me really uncomfortable that people are picking this book up as doing things like using clove, peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils on their children.

Amazing. Personal and insightful essays on what it's like to be a sports writer in a male-dominated field. I love baseball and it's fascinating (and terrifying) to read about her perspectives.

Maddening, touching and funny; I can't believe this is her breakout book! The characters are so real, I feel like I should be calling them up on the phone to see how they're doing, because I just went through a hell of a journey with them. Can't wait to see how they did with the movie adaptation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Wow. Just wow. All of the best #graphicnovels are written by Brian K Vaughan, in case you didn't know. I just found out that the very first one I read, Pride of Baghdad, is also by him.

Well....what to say? Nothing I say could write would do it justice. #lying Ok, ok. It was fantastic! You feel for the characters, the artwork is spectacular and the storylines are intriguingly intertwined. Now all I have to do is wait for volume four :) #fionastaples #canada #internationalwomensday #graphicnovel

Not only is it a hilarious read ("Even the drunkest motherf$ckers get hungry!"), it has amazing recipes! It's a "vegan" cookbook, but you'd be hard pressed to find that word anywhere. It also doesn't contain a bunch of obscure shit that can make vegan cooking so alienating. It was so good that before we finished borrowing it from the library we went out and bought it. Plus the original one. ????#vegan #cookbook #litsycooks

mcctrish I got this for my birthday and it does make me laugh out loud 7y

Ghosts | Raina Telgemeier

Whoa indeed. A moving story about two sisters and their adventures in a new town. The younger sister has cystic fibrosis and much to be afraid of, but her spirit is wild and free. The older sister is anxious and fearful but without any physical limitations. As Day of the Dead approaches they explore the "familiar haunts" of their new hometown. #graphicnovel

Finally got a hold on this one! I've wanted to read it since it came out. I read #rainatelgemeier 's #smile and I just loved her storytelling and art. This one is just as fun! #graphix #graphicnovel

Happy Valentine's! I spent a little time reading this #newtome book last night. I'm pretty excited. Tea, bubbles, paw patrol....I don't know how people read with young kids and get stuff done at the same time....if you have any secrets, please let me know!

Borrowed this from a friend. Nimona's sarcastic humour was right up my alley! #graphicnovel

It was a very nice experience. Not a lot of words, but many gorgeous photos. The author tells the story of the events that happen around the Po river in Italy during 4 seasons. And I'm such a sucker for water colours 😍#graphicnovel

I liked it! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a little bit friendship, a little bit suppression, a little bit freedom and a little bit "little mermaid." The artwork was beautiful:) #graphicnovel

I just picked this off the shelf at my local public library and was pleasantly surprised! A cute and sensitive book to use as a companion for night weaning your breast-fed, (potentially) co-sleeping little one. (What a mouthful!) I'm also a sucker for water colour art, so that was a bonus. :)

I have consulted this book over and over, every time my preschooler changed sleeping habits. It's a fantastic, research-based read to help you get some shut eye ;)
