An amazing sequel that lacks the second book slump.

Um. Wow. I don't even feel like I have the words to express how that ending made me feel. All I can say is that it's beautifully devastating and I loved every second of it.

Yet again Sarah J. Maas had me in tears—numerous times. The characters are so real that you can't help but to fall in love with them and cry with them. I want to slip in between the pages and live in this rich, beautiful world she's created.

I don't think I've ever had such a love-hate relationship (in a good way) with a book before. This book made me laugh, made me cry, and made me want to throw it across the room, but I loved every minute of it!!!

My heart has been shattered!

monogamist_reader I feel your pain... 😭 😭 7y
ashlynngrace @warghalv I had a feeling Sam was going to die but I didn't want to believe it. And when he did my heart broke along with Celaena's 😭😭😭 7y
monogamist_reader Did you read the other books of the series? I am missing Empire of Storms. Every book from Queen Sarah is a longlasting hangover for me. 7y
ashlynngrace @warghalv I just started Throne of Glass shortly after I finished The Assassin's Blade, and I'm loving it so far!!! 7y

It's probably been two or three years since I've read this book, and while I've seen the movie countless times, Order of the Phoenix never fails to make me cry whenever Sirius dies. Sirius has such a special place in my heart ever since we meet him in Prisoner of Azkaban, and I will always harbor a small grudge against J.K. Rowling for killing him off; even though I understand her reasoning for it, it's still upsetting every single time.

IsabellvD I totally agree with you! 7y

I got this book back in elementary school and I still have it, now that I graduated high school last year. I love the Alex Rider series, because there's so much nostalgia surrounding these books.

I read this book back in high school and it opened my eyes. I grew up being taught what was right and what wasn't, and when you do something wrong/bad, those actions have consequences. This book definitely highlights how the actions of bullying and how they can affect the person being bullied. It's raw. And it's one of those stories that more people should read.

mguerrax Do you think the movie is going to be any good? (Curiosity) 7y
ashlynngrace @mguerrax from what I've seen from the trailer on Netflix, I think it's going to be really good. I'm really looking forward to it! 7y
