This book tells the story about vet Massimo Vacchetta and how one little hedgehog that he has to take care of, called Ninna, changed his live and made him decide to open his own hedgehog care center called La Ninna. It's such a delightful read and it has pictures of the hedgehogs he took care of in it! I loved it! This book was so sad but also so beautiful! It is a real eye opener and shows that having a baby isn't always the fairytale you think it'll be. It beautifully describes how the parents deal with the pain and grieve and loss of a sick newborn child. You might shed some tears, but it's definitely worth the read. I loved reading this book! I recognized things of myself and my own youth in Eleanor and somehow it was nice to read about someone going trough some rough times and how they deal with it. I really enjoyed the writing style with Eleanor and Park both telling the story from their point of view. This was a very good read. This was such a good read! I didn't expect it to be this good, because I didn't like 'Looking for Alaska', so I thought that this might disappoint me too. Well, it didn't at all! It was a quick, funny and beautiful read and I added a little bit of tears. It had a twist that I did not see coming, despite this book having so much publicity. The writing style is nice. I did forever to finish this book, cause I just didn't want the story to end! What a great ending it was! The farther I got to the ending the more I was afraid that it might disappoint me, but it didn't at all! Although I would've liked to see some of the characters come back in the end... but you can't have everything, right? This was a good one. The writing style is really nice and because of that you've already read half of the book before you know it. I do find the way the main character talks about women disrespectful sometimes, but that's part of his story. It has beautiful emotional, recognizable and funny moments and I loved the ending. I just finally finished this book. And I'm going to have to be honest; it is not one of my favourites. I actually disliked the first part of the book and I almost quit reading, but me being me I always want to know what happens in the end so I kept on going. I'm happy I did because the second part of the book was much better. I did like the part where they're investigating. I'm not really happy with how it ended. I give it a 6/10. #ya #johngreen
