Very dark story about two of Dracula's wives, beautifully written but dramatic and Gothic tones and probably because of that, I did not really love it. Just not my cup of tea. I loved the f/f romance in the plot and it was an easy read. Honestly, I know this is a stand alone, but I would actually mind a sequel because there is space for more - really trying to avoid spoilers here.. 3⭐

The synopsis can be misleading, you have no clue how the characters will be united for the same cause, which is why after such a long time I found myself reading way past my bed time and went to work devastated. Wicked Saints from Emily A. Duncan completely went behind my expectations, it has unique morally questionable characters and fascinating discussions about magic and gods. 5 ⭐

2/5 ⭐. It has a very slow start, you get into the story or some sort of action only after page 80. This is supposed to be a stand alone but the ending felt so inconclusive. It was quite disappointing. There is a very interesting world building here, but all the intricate politics in the plot are left unexplained and characters are not developed at all. 😞

Wow, I loved this one so much and I can't wait to have the final copy with me. I gave it 4 out 5 stars, just because I was expecting more vampires. Overall, Renée Ahdieh is such a great writer, I felt like I was able to time travel back in 1870 New Orleans. It is a great plot, with the right amount of forbidden love that gives you the thrills. Damn, it left me with so many questions, I demand book two now.

I got this #ARC at #Yalc2019.
I found it wrong to compare this story to Wonder Woman or Black Panther. The plot has nothing similar to these movies. Unfortunately, I found the world building too heavy and too complex for me to take. The story was really dark and few times I was also thinking if this is right to propose this book for young adults...

I was lucky to get an ARC for this book. I cannot believe how much I love it and I keep thinking, I want book number 2 now, and I still have to wait for book number 1 to be officially published. If you love modern YA fantasy you must add this to your stack! IT IS AMAZING!!! Adam Silver at his finest!

This book was freaking amazing!!! I cant believe how much I enjoyed it. I am not a big fan of science fiction but this one got me so hooked. Fun and fast pacing plot with different POV, amazing characters (love Kal), and shocking ending!!! 5 🌟

The ending of Marissa Meyer's Renegade was quite an unexpected surprise, I can't wait for the second part of this story.

This book and its world completely blew my mind. To Kill a Kingdom is a dark retelling of The Little Mermaid, where the Mermaid is... a prince killer!! How awesome and wicked is this idea?

Shatter Me there is no middle grounds. You love it or you hate it. And I love it. And I love Warner so much! I was worried about this sequel but I was worried for nothing. The ending was incredibly shocking and so unexpected that I seriously cannot wait for the next book.
