The covers cool 😎
Read this in between the last two.
Going to start this new book tonight. I know this is weird but seriously love the cover. I‘m always drawn to a book by a good cover. 👍🏻👍🏻
This book was scary. At the beginning I could understand that love makes you crazy and you do daft things when your in love and I almost felt sorry for the main character HOWVER the more I read the more unsettled I became. Crazy, obsessed, delusional, unhinged are a few words that spring to mind. You can understand someone fighting for the love of their life but this book almost made me feel uncomfortable and disturbed. In a good way though! 9/10
‘The must read thriller of 2018‘. Saw this book in Tesco last year and knew it was right up my street however waited until it came down in price on the kindle and purchased. Let‘s see if it lives up to its review. Must say I‘m having a very good book year for 2019 - majority of everything I‘ve read so far has been brilliant!
Happy Friday and I‘m 46% of the way through my latest book and loving it 👍🏻👏🏻😆
This is next. PLEASE restore my faith in a good book. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🤞🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I think because it was wrote in 4 parts I found it hard work. It wasn‘t even four accounts of the same story it was like now, and then wrote in different decades/time throughout the story developing. I‘m sorry but I think this book wasn‘t for me. It had potential but I felt like something was missing.... 6/10
Oh god this done my head in! I purchased because of so many good reviews stating ‘read in one sitting because it was so good‘ ‘couldn‘t wait to get it finished‘ however - I just don‘t know. The book was written in parts; part1- yeah good start, the basis of a good story, beginning to get into it. Part 2-Jesus what am I reading I can‘t follow it?! Part 3- still have no idea someone help me. Part 4- oh yeah this parts good I‘m liking it.
The missing started off quite slow at first and took me a while to get into the characters and story but once I got gripped that was it! I realised once again how much I loved the previous books. On the AppStore they work out about 99p-Q9.99 each and are so recommended!! Lastly, enough yapping about these but I am excited about the new book SLEEP. Will purchase soon!!!! ????????
Everyone of these books is full of suspense, fast paced thrilling action. (the escape, the accident, the fear, the lie, the missing, the treatment) ALL FAB! Love when you feel like you can just sit back and get lost in a book but that‘s truly the case with these!! Most of them I didn‘t want to end!! Just finished reading the missing which has sat on my kindle for a while but just never got round to it. Would say it wasn‘t as good as the others...
Little blurb about this author - C.L.Taylor. I‘m finding every year that I discover an author and binge on every book they have wrote until I‘m finished and 2019 has already been about C.L.Taylor and it‘s only April! Can‘t describe to you how good these books are! First book I purchased was the fear however I already had the escape in paperback form so read that first. From page one I was hooked and had to read more and more by this person.....
Next read. Loving the front cover too. 👍🏻📚
Last C.L Taylor book left to read. 👍🏻
Going to read a few chapters of this little number before I make supper and have a few bevvies with the other half 🍹 #loveasnugsaturday.
My last book was FAB FAB FAB!!!.... 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻(didn‘t want it to end)⬇️⬇️ The next one on the list is give me the child by Mel McGrath. Definitely need to buy some more Jane Fallon soon though! Superb!
Yaaaaaas! Love Ben cheetham books. Only discovered this author in January but he‘s definitely up there! Gonna read this one now and see if it‘s any good! 👍🏻
Got this for Christmas off the parents. Adding to my collection of his other books. Time to get it read 👍🏻📚
This is the next one on the list. (how pretty is the front cover though) 😍💙😍💙. Then after this I must pick up a paperback!! 😀
So I‘ve been pretty darn lucky in 2019 to have already read some awesome books! This so far is my favourite 💙 absolutely love when you get lost in a book because the characters were so relatable. When Connie unravelled I felt like I was unravelling with her, getting angry at the same things she was and happy at the same things she was. That‘s all I‘m saying BUT I completely got lost in this book.
I adore the moment that you turn a page to end a book and then turn a page to start a book. One of the things I love most is when you get to decide what to read next. I love it when your reading away and suddenly think wow I was totally lost in that book there for 20 minutes with no conscious thoughts to what‘s around you. #readingrules 📚
Just realised I forgot to post a picture of this book when I started it.... 🙈 ooops.
50% through the good girl now. I do this all the time with books that when I first start reading them I feel like I‘m not digging it and probably won‘t get into it however over the last couple of days I‘ve found myself picking up the kindle every spare second that I have to read some more of this story. Really enjoying at the moment! 👍🏻
Only started reading this yesterday and already 3/4 of the way through. A good gin always speeds up the reading as well 😂💪🏻👍🏻
Latest book. Not sure so far, it‘s a bit up and down and I‘m struggling to keep track but I‘ll percivere . 📖 hope it gets better 🤞🏻
Back to the kindle for book 10 of 2019. Love a lazy Sunday where you can catch up on tv and finish a book! So, just finished my Roger Daltrey autobiography so now onto this. Had on my kindle for a while so thought it was time to get round to reading it ! 📖
Next book of the year. A present off the other half. Read the first chapter in the bath and so far- think I‘m going to like it. 📖❕❗️
Back to an old faithful. Haven‘t read any mark Edwards for a couple of years so looking forward to this one 👍🏻👍🏻 Book8of2019
Well. What a shitty day I‘ve had 🙄😫 Anyway, finished my last book (scroll down🔽) and I‘m not sure what I think 💭 I mean yeah it was a good story and I enjoyed how fast paced it was but can‘t help but feel like the ending is a let down. Finished quite pre-maturely and I kinda hoped for a really fab ending. 🤔 worth a read though 👍🏻 Anyway ⤴️⤴️ this is the next one on my list. #heregoes 📖 #book7
6 - Think I‘ll give this one a go next. Bought it last year but finally getting round to giving it a read. So many books to get through!! 📚
5- read about this in my closer magazine last week and it couldn‘t pass me buy without purchasing it. Always a win win when the front cover is good too as that‘s what usually draws me into what I buy. Sounds good, I‘ll give it a go. 📚here‘s hoping it‘s up there as im on book 5 of 2019 already and the first four were very good.
4. Giving this a go. Bought it last year and it‘s been sitting on my ‘to read‘ pile. Usually have the kindle in my hand but it‘s great to go back to an actual book every once in a while. #thechalkman 📚
Book.3. I might flick in between this guys books this year to try and read them all. During 2018 I found three great authors- Chris Carter, C.L Taylor and now this man, Ben Cheetham; I made it my 2018 mission to read all chris Carter‘s books so for 2019 - this is my new mission to read all of Ben Cheethams. Here‘s the third then......
Book 2 of 2019 about to begin! #smashingthebooksalready 🤣
50% through this book now and I‘d 100% recommend. Weird how it happens but I happened to stumble across this author and he‘s bloody brilliant! This is the second book now that I‘m reading but can‘t get enough! It‘s also set in my neck of the woods which is just brilliant as I don‘t think I‘ve ever read a book set near to home so I have more admiration for the author 😍😍📚
Book 1 of 2019. Happy New Year 🥂🎉🙂 I have counted up that I read 46 books last year give or take about 3 that I panned as I couldn‘t get into them. Love reading. Gonna keep track of how many I read this year too. Happy reading!! 📖
Will this be my last book of 2018?? I‘ve got plenty lined up already for next year 👍🏻
What a fantastic book. Wasn‘t sure where it was heading in the first couple of chapters but when we met Martin Joy that was the whirlwind beginning! Love this book so twisty and turny and just when you think you‘ve worked it out, it throws something else at you. Not what I expected at the end 8/10! Well worth a read 📖
The last C.L. Taylor book I have left to read. Can‘t wait for this one! All the rest have been brilliant!! Here goes 🤞🏻👁📖
Due to spending every minute I could grab engaged in this book I have now finished it ! 💃🏼💃🏼 it‘s absolutely brilliant. 9/10 most definitely. My second favourite book I‘ve read this yeAr without a doubt.
Just started this book and already feel like I‘m going to love it. The reviews say ‘addictive, twisty and oh so terrifyingly possible‘ so I cant wait to see what happens 💪🏻 also totally hope someone gets me a kindle voucher for Christmas and then I can continue to stack the books up that I want to read. Already got loads like but the more the merrier. 💪🏻💪🏻
New bedtime reading tonight - The innocent Wife by Amy Lloyd. 📚📚📚
So excited to start this. It‘s the newest of the detective hunter novels and I just absolutely love Chris Carter‘s work! Only discovered him this year and read all his books practically in one go. Bloody brilliant! 📚
