"Kimberly Belle delivers the goods--a rocket-paced story with a heart that will keep you riveted through every hairpin twist and turn. Breathless suspense!" --Lisa Unger, New York Times bestselling author of The Red HunterWhen a child goes missing, two mothers' lives collide in a shocking way in this suspenseful novel from the bestselling author of The Marriage Lie.It's every parent's worst nightmare: the call that comes in the middle of the night. When Kat Jenkins awakens to the police on her doorstep, her greatest fear is realized. Her nine-year-old son, Ethan, is missing--vanished from the cabin where he'd been on an overnight class trip. Shocked and distraught, Kat rushes to the campground, but she's too late; the authorities have returned from their search empty-handed after losing Ethan's trail in the mountain forest.Another mother from the school, Stef Huntington, seems like she has it all: money, prominence in the community, a popular son and a loving husband. She hardly knows Kat, except for the vicious gossip that swirls around Kat's traumatic past. But as the police investigation unfolds, Ethan's disappearance has earth-shattering consequences for Stef, as her path crosses with Kat. As the two mothers race against the clock, their desperate search for answers reveals how the greatest dangers lie behind the everyday smiles of those they trust the most.

4 ⭐️- Ok, I finally get all the Kimberly Belle buzz! I feel like the last belle of the Belle ball but after owning a digital copy of Three Days Missing for longer than I care to admit, I am happy that I finally read it!

Whether you‘re a parent or not, I think you‘ll enjoy this fast-paced domestic thriller about a missing eight-year-old boy.

This book was admittedly a let down. It had such promise in subject matter and with a personal connection to the author. I really wanted to like the book, but found myself bored, losing whatever minor interest I gained every time a chapter ended & the narrator changed. Very predictable & disappointing.

This book started out as a pick for sure ... but it lost some of the build up for me near the end. It was predictable and a little too cheesy for me. I do enjoy the author‘s writing style and would like to read more by her! I will be mailing to you soon @minkyb and hopefully it arrives much faster than the last one!! #lmpbc

Perfectly paced, no sense of feeling contrived, really good. The final chapter added a lot. I didn‘t find the chicken bone analogy to be resonant. I wish something more had happened btw two of the characters. No spoilers here. ;) Solid suspense. Interesting characters and plot. Definitely recommend.

I just started Three Days Missing by Kimberley Belle and I can‘t put it down! I highly recommend this book because it really captures the essence of a mother‘s protective nature and love towards her children. As I was reading I wanted to hug Kathryn (protagonist) and console her. This book contains one sensitive topic: Divorce. Enjoy!!!

Spending the last week of my vacation at my parent‘s cottage with my daughter (my husband has to work next week so he‘s home enjoying the silence 🤣). I brought a bunch of books with me, although I don‘t know how many I‘ll actually get through as I plan to spend as much time as possible in the lake 🏊🏻‍♀️ The tagged book is first up.

1.) My daughters. They are everything and during summer my days are completely about them.
2.) school clothes shopping with my girls (only 3 more weeks of summer break)
3.) dairy

5.) thankfully, I have not.

Rebesta 1. If I knew how to post a picture to threads it would be of a small table with an umbrella in a flower garden. On that table would be a cup of coffee, my computer, iPad, and the book I‘m currently reading. The screen savers on my devices would show a picture of my hubby whom I adore. 2. My oldest son came to visit. 3. I sometimes keep a diary. 4. 💞📔📝👗👡👝 5. I broke a toe — does that count? 😃 1y
MinDea @Rebesta it's pretty simple! You just add a blurb and then click add Image! If you want to create a post with a photo and the piece that asks the questions a lot of us use other apps to do that. I use pic collage. It's free and pretty simple to use. Then when it's created you can easily access it to add to a Litsy post! People screenshot a post that has the questions and brings that into the app like pic collage and then add your photo! 1y

Woa!! 5 ☆ for a thriller definitely worth the read, it kept me in suspense to it‘s very end.
One child is taken while another was the intended victim, meanwhile two mothers are shocked + desperate for answers to solve the puzzle. One mother is struggling to make ends meet while the other has it all.. but you never know what‘s going on in another persons life behind closed doors.. or exactly who you can trust!!

Different POV‘s from two women leading very different lives. One of their sons went missing while on a school camping trip but was the other child the intended victim. Quick and engaging read-not super twisty in my opinion but entertaining nonetheless.

TieDyeDude There is an amazing Kurosawa film, High and Low, with a similar plot. A wealthy man's servant's son is kidnapped and ransomed, though the wealthy man's child was the target. 1y

Eggs When is the move 1y
JoScho @Eggs I‘m not really sure. I would like to get it done before the new school year starts mid-August but I am super overwhelmed by the packing but even more so the repairs. A tree growing beside my house has messed up the foundation so first the tree has to be removed and then RamJack has to come stabilize the foundation. I was prepared to do things like paint cabinets and baseboards not jack the house up 😔 I am so glad you love that little egg. 1y
Eggs Oh my that does sound like a lot to be done! Sorry you have to deal with tree removal and foundation issues. I have an egg collection and I would get eggs as gifts; but no one has given me an egg for about 20 years!!!! So that was special 🤗💕 1y

"I think about Ethan climbing onto the bus at school, my mind already flitting to my endless to-do list at work, & my stomach aches. I see myself standing on the sidewalk, waving...I couldn‘t even tell if he was waving back, or...if it was even Ethan. I just picked out 1 shadowy lump & waved & waved & waved, because the sooner that bus left, the sooner I could race off to work. The last time I saw Ethan, I didn‘t see him at all." #MountTBR
