I loved this book! Secret societies at Yale with paranormal elements? Does it get any better?

LibrarianRyan I just finished it and I too quite liked it. 4y

This book was the perfect amount of creepy that made me double check that I had locked my door. Lisa Jewell never disappoints me when it comes to mystery thrillers, this book was wonderfully atmospheric and moody, and multiple narrators made the pacing and mystery juuuuust right.

Megabooks Great review! Agree 👍🏻 4y

Blake Crouch does it again, brilliant science fiction that makes me have a small crisis while reading it. Absolutely perfect!

One of my favorite thrillers (let alone YA thriller) of the season! I was so surprised and creeped out by this book. Perfect for someone who doesn‘t love horror but likes to be creeped out!

I would have loved this book had it not been for the fatphobia and the way POC are written in this story.

The best kind of true crime book. Victim focused, this book tells the life stories of the 5 women who were Jack the Ripper‘s victims with nothing but a suggestion in a single sentence of the murder itself. What a great book, truly.

The first graphic novel I‘ve read in 15 years, and it was perfect. Halloween feelings, wholesome friendships, I loved this book.

Deifio I've seen this on sooo many reading lists this October. I think have to check it out soon. Everyone seems to love it! 4y
coffeeandwashitape @Deifio yes! It was really so cute and such a quick read! 4y

I adored this book. Twisty, gothic, spooky, well paced. I was fully immersed in Patagonia, the Vaccaro School, and in Mavi and Angel‘s lives. ✨

🧪 Currently working through The Radium Girls for #ScienceSeptember and wow, it‘s horrifying on every level. From the side effects, the higher ups turning a blind eye, and the court cases. I‘m only half way through and I can‘t imagine having experienced this. ⁣

Also weirdly fascinated by the side effects of the radium? The glowing coffin? I‘m just horrified and fascinated at the same time. ⁣

I have never hated and wanted to unread a book so much in my life.

Truly can‘t wait to go to my book club today so I can talk about how much I hated this. 😂

Wow, what an experience. I simultaneously listened to the audio book and read the ebook and I feel like you must do both to get the full experience. One of the most immersive books I‘ve read in ages and I loved it despite it not being my typical genre I reach for.

♟ The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle was fantastic. I couldn‘t put it down, I put off housework to keep reading (and I‘m paying for that today 🙈)

This book was the perfect mix of being able to guess twists and never seeing them coming. It kept me guessing and also satisfied with my ability to figure things out, exactly what I want in a mystery novel. ⁣

I have recommended this book to every I see since finishing it!

The Silent Patient has returned my hope for thrillers. ⁣Once I picked this one up I couldn‘t put it down and I finished it in less than a day. ⁣It took me longer than usual to figure out the twist and it was a really, really good twist in my opinion. It keeps you questioning yourself, who and what you believe. ⁣

This book was well paced and well thought out, and again, really one of the best thrillers I‘ve read in ages.
