My final read of 2017, and I met my Goodreads goal! 🙌🏻📚
This book was so beautiful. I loved all the science-y dream facts.
Happy New Year, fellow reader friends. ☺️ Here‘s to more reading in 2018!

Janie‘s father has a stroke and is given the responsibility of keeping up with the bills. She comes across a file with secrets her father kept from her. Finding out that her father has been paying the kidnapper, Janie goes to Colorado to hunt Hannah down. Does Janie have the guts to meet her kidnapper face to face?
The third installment of the Janie Johnson series. Reeve goes off to college in Boston and wants to make a name for himself. He gains popularity by selling Janie‘s stories over the college radio station. Janie and her bio siblings decide to visit him, and hear Janie‘s kidnapping story over the airwaves. Shocked at what Janie is hearing she would have never thought that of all people it would be Reeve.
Jennie Spring AKA Janie Johnson goes to live with her biological family before returning to the family who raised her after being kidnapped when she was 3 years old. Biological brother, Stephen, and sister, Jodie go and search for the kidnapper, Hannah. Once seeing Hannah, they realize life has done her over and she‘s paid the price for kidnapping Janie.

I finished Wonder. Moving on to something I‘ve been looking forward to read. Trying to get all the reading in during break. 🐝 #TheBees #LalinePaull #BuzzBuzz
I‘ve been wanting this book before it was ever a movie. So excited! #Wonder #RJPalacio
“Noticing details, that was good. Tiny slivers of life - they all added up and help you to feel that you too could be a fragment, a little piece of humanity who usefully filled a space, however minuscule.”
I absolutely loved this book. So honest and so full of emotion.
The embossed art on the hardbound cover is gorgeous! 😍
Loved this one! ♥️ The universe is fascinating.
I‘m so excited to read this. 🤓
⭐️⭐️⭐️
“They say the best defense is a good offense, right?”
This book was filled with drama-llamas! 😂 Made for a good quick read. Fall break is over for us, and I must return to my fifth graders tomorrow.
Tuesday. Brought to you by doing nothing, and copious amounts of coffee. ☕️📚
“A strange and baffling truth: that the people were supposed to know best can turn out to be like strangers, and that near strangers can feel so much like home.” Finished Replica and it totally gave me a Blade Runner feel. Yes, I geeked out a little. Definitely want to read Ringer next.

I love #LaurenOliver so I‘m super excited to start this. 😆 #Replica #Kindle #ebook
“Everything, in the end, comes down to timing. One second, one minute, one hour, could make all the difference. So much hanging on these things, tiny increments that together build a life. Like words build a story. One word can change the entire world.” #SarahDessen #ThisLullaby
Trying to read more during the school year. Any tips that you follow to get more book time in?
I liked this book. It was a neat storyline.
School starts tomorrow for my district, so that means I won't be reading/posting as much. :( 66 Days till Fall Break.
I enjoyed 13 Reasons Why, so I thought I'd give this a go. 🤓
"Sometimes figuring out who you are means understanding that we are a mosaic of experiences."
Dumplin' is a light-hearted, quick read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I loved this book so much! 1 week left to read all the books before school starts. 😭
It's too hot to sleep in, (I live in Arizona). I found this at Goodwill after hearing great things. 🙌🏻
"Home. It's four walls echoing back everything you've ever been and everything you've ever done, and it's the people who stay despite it all. Through it all. For it all." ..... I really enjoyed the format of this book. This book picks up quick and keeps you hooked till the end. I love books that make you wonder what happens next.
Probably not a good idea for Book Outlet to have 50% off sales.
"It occurred to her that there were so many levels of evil in the world. Small evils like her own malicious words. Like not inviting a child to a party. Bigger evils like walking out on your wife and newborn baby or sleeping with your child's nanny."
Wow..Just when you think you really know people...PLOT TWIST! Great summer read. I wasn't expecting that. ????
"There was no sense in rushing toward being dead. It would find you soon enough, and before it did there were pleasures to make your heart hurt less."
Yay for teacher friends who give you free books! #FriendsWithBookBenefits
Digging in to another book I bought over the weekend. #currentlyreading #labgirl
😳 What a jacked up book! From the first page I was sucked in, tractor beam style.
God Damnit, Barnes and Noble! 😆 #bookhaul
Finished Harry Potter this morning. Starting this before it comes to the big screen. My 6 year old keeps seeing the previews and says she wants to watch it. "Mom, the girls are pretty!"
Didn't get called to sub so I'm spending the day with Harry. 🤓
Trying really hard to not place this one in my Did-Not-Finish pile. Should I hang in there?
"Love isn't always pretty. Sometimes you spend all your time hoping it'll eventually be something different. Something better. Then, before you know it, you're back at square one, and you lost your heart somewhere along the way."

The library is becoming just as dangerous as the bookstore! 😆
