#mmdchallenge completed👍🏻📚
Read some fantastic books during this challenge and discovered some great new authors 😊
(yes, it's annoying me that one tick is grey but I have a new phone with updated emojis 🤣)
I did it! I forgot I was only one book away so was totally surprised to see this just now!
Last year I made it to 135 but that‘s definitely not happening again this year; I‘m pretty proud of this anyway. ☺️
Over the last five months Litsy has been a bit of a lifeline for me whilst I was off work & Home alone most days. On Monday I start the slow return to work and am hosting a bit of a giveaway to say thank you. Come October I am looking forward to be able to partake in my other 2 hobbies - travelling and photography and looking for some inspiration! Open internationally - in fact totally looking forward to global recommendations!! #itchyfeetgiveaway
I won this reusable bag at library bingo tonight. Others were wanting to win gift cards, but not me, I was excited when they drew my name for this bag.
Congratulations on the milestone @callielafleur #15kforcal My recliner is my most favorite place to read, complete with my Vera Bradley throw from my bestie. 😍❤️
Spread the word!!! @hermyknee has some big plans for the new year!!! #giveaway #awesomeness

“They say the best defense is a good offense, right?”
This book was filled with drama-llamas! 😂 Made for a good quick read. Fall break is over for us, and I must return to my fifth graders tomorrow.
There is nothing more satisfying after a long day at work than opening up your email to find out that you've won some #giveaways!!! Excited!!!
Tuesday. Brought to you by doing nothing, and copious amounts of coffee. ☕️📚
Thank you @MrBook for sharing this with us. If you haven't already, go enter. As my mom says, "It'd be nice to win something." ?

I know that I've read more than 1000 in my life but it's gratifying to see it. 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
This was like Mean Girls, but it didn't quite hit the same level of clever snark. I felt compelled to see how it ended though. I enjoyed reading parts of the book from the perspective of a Cordelia-like character (#BTVS reference). Although, I don't think Cordelia would ever go to the same diabolical lengths as Alexandra. Well, maybe the Cordelia from season 1 would. 😄
Winning meets #LRC10 (multiple perspectives) for the #LitsyReadingChallenge.
#ThisMonthsTBR: Confessions, Tomie, and Smoke fills 3 slots for 2 reading challenges. I'm reading Winning on my Kindle during work breaks.
I want to join at least 1 group read each month. This month I'm reading The Shining Girls and Who Killed These Girls as the fiction and nonfic picks for the My Favorite True Crime GR group. I guess if I want to get through my stack, I should stop marathoning Criminal Minds on Netflix. 😄

This is definitely my favorite book of 2016. There was nothing I didn't love about it- the characters were amazing and the plot, while not the most original, was still written so well that I absolutely had to stay up late and finish the book. A must-read.
I hit the 5,000 mark while we were out hiking! 🤘
It's been days and I'm still thinking about this book. I love it bc there's no deeper meaning or anything to think about or decipher. It was just so much fun!
This book is so much fun! I love the cattiness of all these teenage girls. I've heard this book described as Mean Girls meets House of Cards and that is so accurate. Excited to see where all this scheming goes!!
Unlikable, terrible characters, and a must read book... sort of...

This week's Epic First5. Not really my cup of tea but popular theme at my middle schools.
This story is pretty much MEAN GIRLS scheming to win the Homecoming Queen title. Which sounds fun, except it's not quiiiite as funny or clever enough to be super exciting. It's a quick, entertaining read, though, and I appreciated the antiheroine POV and lesbian BFF subplot.
