Of course I had to drink my tea from my favorite mug for this wonderful book! Fun fact: I read this in 3 days! Could not put it down!! Ann Patchett is one of my favorite authors! This one gets 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A good listen for this past week. I really enjoyed her writing however not a scandalous as i had thought. A little bit of Gray Gardens and a little bit of Gatsby.

It was pretty good! Set in LA in 2003 - before iPhones & before social media - before selfies! An artist goes missing on the day of her new gallery show called, Still Lives, where the art is all self portraits of her dressed up as famous murdered women like the black dahlia and Nicole Brown Simpson. It has a smart female protagonist and supporting characters. Would make a great book club read too!

@TheNerdyProfessor we spent the day in Cambridge! We hit up some breweries and of course, Harvard! The bookstore had some great finds in the basement that we bought as gifts to bring back (we actually mailed them back because books are heavy)! Thank you for the recommendation!! #harvardbookstore

I‘m re-reading The Goldfinch in between my current read, which is about art too! Hahahah

Week 2 check in and we‘re back from our 9-day vacation. NYC was amazing! We got to see 2 shows: Burn This with Keri Russell and Adam Driver (swoon), and The Book of Mormon which was HILARIOUS!! Started a new one on vacation. Book 2/4 for the challenge. We are in Boston for the next 2 days and we love it! I wanted a light listen with some mystery and came across this gem. It‘s very soap opera-y, perhaps it‘s the audio, but i did sit an extra 3 minutes in my car to finish the juicy chapter 😂. Re-reading this gem before the film comes out and getting sucked in all over again! I hate that i have yo put it down and go to bed to make it to the gym tomorrow. Ahhhhh...the struggle!!

Y‘all, this monster of a bore is told in 2 parts. I returned it shortly after part 1. I swear i read 3567533 pages of absolutely NOTHING but some pathetic, entitled man‘s complaining and whining about his useless existence and his sad wife. I cannot be the only person who couldn‘t (or wouldn‘t) make it through this painful punishment...was I?

Read this one right after, The Lying Game, and it was my favorite of hers so far! Great vacation or book club read!

I was apprehensive about picking this one up, because I hated, The Woman in Cabin 10. I‘m so happy I did! No spoilers here...go read it!

It‘s everything it‘s hyped up to be! Trust me! It‘s the only book in 2 years that everyone in book club loved. What a beautiful story ❤️

I just saw that Reese is making a Hulu series based on the book. I think the series will be better than the book and hope she dives deeper into all the characters. Thoughts? #littlefireseverywhere #reesewitherapoon
