I loved the adventure that Damage in an Undead Age took me on! I enjoyed the new characters that were introduced and the twists created by their addition to the story! What I loved the most though, was the emotional journey that I wasn‘t expecting. It was beautifully woven into the zombie apocalypse and left me unable to put the book down.

I loved the first half of this book, but the second half got weird...It felt like it wasn't a thriller anymore, it was more psychological domestic fiction.

Has anyone read this? I'd love to hear what you thought!

With the characters older than where we left them at the end of Yellow Crocus, I loved seeing the changes in their lives. The children of Lisbeth and Mattie have led very different lives than these two women did. I appreciated how those differences were shown, giving each character experiences that helped them to appreciate the lives they led and the sacrifices their parents made to get them to where they are today.

I love a zombie book that is more focused on the survival than on JUST guts and gore, and I found just that here. I really loved that this started after the Zombie Apocalypse, when people had found how to survive (mostly). The characters are living in their various situations, some protected, others traveling through zombie-infested places. I enjoyed that there were characters in both situations as it made for quite an exciting story!
