Currently on hols in a very wet Byron Bay. My Stew took 2 laps around the roundabout so I could check out this LFL. Never mind there was nothing in it for me this time. Today was a rainy morning sleep in (The temp is perfect here at the moment for peri menopause sleeping), pancakes & bacon for breaky followed by adults v children frisbee game on Suffolk Park Beach (I‘d like to say that we won but that would be a lie) & I made a lasagna for dinner.

We visited all of the LFLs within 5 miles of my mom‘s house. Mom and step dad got a few books and have plans to deliver some books to one of the libraries that was almost empty. It was really fun introducing them to the mystery of what might be available in the neighborhood.

I‘m on my springtime adventure to donate 2 books to each LFL in my walking path (13 of them!). This one has an ‘annex‘ with a stepping stool for children‘s books. So cute!

marleed @ValerieAndBooks Isn‘t that incredible! I walk 5-6 miles at a stretch and literally bought my little house with walkability as a top priority. But it will take quite a few walks in several directions to hit all 13 LFLs! ...And dang, yesterday I was diagnosed with Rosecea and I‘m told lengthy exercise in heat, humidity, and direct sunlight are all factors exasperating my problem. Dang - walking is my church! 3y

ValerieAndBooks @marleed you‘re lucky with your walking options! I can walk around my neighborhood but one “loop” is only one mile. So if I want to do more, it gets pretty repetitive. I hope you can find solutions for your rosacea without giving up your exercise 💖. Maybe wear a hat to prevent the direct sunlight component? 3y

Reviewsbylola The LFL at our local park is ALWAYS empty (although maybe that means it gets a lot of use?? I just always assume I‘m the only one that stocks it.) I hope this one has better luck. 4y
