Happy national book lovers day!! #richellemead #theglitteringcourt #nationalbookloversday
My day in a nutshell while I take the kids to the first day of school ;)
A new book for the new school year. For those that are new to following me, I work with school kids on a school bus, go to college and have hobbies on the side. The thousandth floor has an interesting start and curious of how our protagonists live in this glorious place. It reminds me a bit of the story of "Stupid Perfect World" by Scott Westerfeld. Stay tuned!
Enjoying my book while hiking :) Cheers everyone!
I still love it. Even after rereading it, it is still as wonderful as the first time
The advantage of working really in the morning. The sunrises make it worth it. #youngadultbooks #lainitaylor #daughterofsmokeandbone #yaforlife
As soon as I touched this book, I was back home. The love I have for this book is beyond anything I could describe. There is only one other book that has done this for me and that is Dracula. #daughterofsmokeandbone #booklove #youngadultbook
Oliver is helping me out with my new adventure!
So far I have been rather intrigued with this book :)
I adored this book. It's a rarity for the second book to be better than the first. But in this case true. I loved the interaction between the characters, the reflection on PTSD. Rhysland is one of my favorite characters of all time. I do not say that lightly.
It's been some time since I have read this book. I first read it in middle school and loved it since. I never lend this book out to anyone, it's life is like my own. I wouldn't give this book up for a million years or a million dollars. It is what got me reading and helped me through all of my speech therapy, special needs education, the battle of autism. I don't know how else to explain it. Nor am I going to try to. #stephenking #horror
It was surprisingly good. I'm not a huge fan of fairy stories but something new. I did appreciate the beauty and the beast flair in it.
I have finished ACOTAR and I am confused of what to do. I do not own the second book, cannot get it thanks to the snow storm outside.....but mentally dying to read something......
Even though it is ridiculously early for someone to be up, but it is never too early to read. I have been putting off reading this book for about at year at least. I just hope it lives up to the hype. #youngadultbook #acotar #hellatiredbutwhatever #bookselfie
It was surprisingly good. It has a good lesson for all of us to remember. It's better to be grateful of what you have then to be constantly wanting. #youngadultbook #beautyandthebeast #fairytaleretelling
What are y'all reading? It is snowing outside and I'm enjoying the indoors with Hunted :)
As I start this books, got me thinking. Who is the top 5 book boyfriends? #youngadultbooks
I was curious about this book. Who would recommend it?
It was an okay book, not the best but certainly not the worst. Its a good predictable read, but I'm not really into mysteries.
I loved this book when I was a little girl. It describes a good description if a cat could talk. Now that I'm older, I read it to my students and they liked it. I would highly suggest it to a little one who loves cats to read it. I would say it is about 2nd grade reading level at youngest.
This book was a joy to read. It has plot twists you won't see right away which is always a plus. It has Laini's signature whimsical writing style that causes major book hangover. The cover did not make sense to me until a good half book in. Compared to the Daughter of Smoke and Bone, it is a good comparison and a great addition to any readers collection!
