I loved this book and now the audiobook is on sale today. I didn‘t listen to it so I don‘t know if the audio is as good as just reading it but I do highly recommend this book

There was a cliffhanger, which I shy away from, but she gave me enough to not feel like I wasted my time. I enjoyed the unusual lore, the characters, and the worlds. She did well tying 2 stories into one, but I was less into Mad‘s.

I was impressed by this book. I have a Laini Taylor book but have yet to read it. This one became available on audio, so I went for it... lots of supernatural twists and turns in the plot. And that ending? I liked it a lot more than I expected to, after having actually read some reviews. 3.5/4🌟

Excellent. I‘m not usually one for books about angels and the like but I really enjoyed this. The characters were well fleshed out and their chemistry was outstanding. In my experience, good chemistry is very hard to find in the YA genre. Laini Taylor is quickly becoming one of my favorite YA authors.

Making my slow way through book #2. Loved the first one so still trying.

The writing is superb, very tight and fluid. I enjoyed the first half the most, as the character building was so well done. The world building too was gradual, not info-dumped. Good use of humor, plot tension.
The second half set the stage for the next book. I was still interested, but there is a lot of angst.

I still love it. Even after rereading it, it is still as wonderful as the first time

Starting this book, i thought 'Even if it is shite, i will continue to read the entire trilogy' since i specifically bought the entire series for that edition/cover.

Besides the MAJOR CONFUSION 75% through the book, I enjoyed it. It is a forbidden romance with a nice freshness to the concept and characters.

Stunning book which continues on into a beautiful series. Love this book wholeheartedly.
