I am loving this audiobook so far. I recently listened to the first book of the series( which I‘ve had on my shelf for years 😅) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Have any of you guys read this series? Do you have any similar books you can recommend to me? I would be listening to them through audiobook. 💚

This was a good read. It was definitely better than the first. Not my favorite book, but not horrible either.
Well...okay. I really enjoyed Seven Black Diamonds, but this one wasn't what I was wanting or expecting. It's not bad, and I still like some of the characters, but it reads like a placeholder book--you know, the one in a series that only ties the one before it to the one after? Problem is, this is the last one in the duo. It's worth a read if you read the first one, but my guess is Marr was probably asked to wrap up the storyline early. #LitsyAtoZ
So I really liked this but am a little confused that it is the "conclusion" of the series. I felt like she spent a lot of time on some really good character development and story lines that never got used/resolved. Hope she at least sets another book(s) in this world using these characters.
Sometimes I avoid books I need to finish. This one's judging me from my nightstand while I read other things...
The word closure means nothing to this author. I feel like I just read book two of a seven part series not the conclusion to a duology. This book is just 100 loosely connected plot points left dangling in mid air. The concepts in this series are really interesting. I just feel so much more could have been done with them. This is a twilight book. I just got Stephenie Meyers'd. AGAIN. Give this series, sorry, "duology" to Sarah J. Maas. PLEASE.
