My 11 year old read 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ books this year! He asked me to keep track. 🙂 And I‘m a photo snapper. He‘s the sweetest little soccer-playing, video-game-loving, reader. So proud of him!

lynneamch I always enjoy seeing your boys' reading adventures. My younger grandkids are also 9 & 11 and big readers. Both have gotten in a little trouble at school for reading when they're supposed to be doing something else. Ok by me. 😉 12mo

Attack on Titan, Volume 2 is the second novel in the long lasting manga series. In this particular book we find out that Eren Yeager (the protagonist of the story) has the ability to turn into the one thing he absolutely despises, a Titan. The mother of Eren died a brutal death to a Titan which is what causes him to lead his life with revenge. The question is, will Eren be able to control his newly found power, or will the strength of Titans

rene.saguin overpower him yet again? 3y
rene.saguin If you enjoy books that constantly leave you eager to find out what happens in the next volume then Attack on Titan is the series for you. Volume 2 is also a good book for those who love an excessive amount of action as there are many fights between people and titans and even titans against titans. Even the flashbacks that are showcased do not take the reader away from the story‘s action aspect 3y
rene.saguin The whole Attack on Titan series can be considered Action and Adventure (Character vs Supernatural) as there are an excessive amount of fights as previously mentioned. The same adventure of Eren finding out who he is continues and is very relatable to most readers as the targeted towards mostly teens and/or university students who still need to find themselves like Eren. 3y
MissYaremcio Thank you for the review Rene! This post was supposed to be on POV but thank you for doing the conflict. 4/6 3y

Attack on Titan is a story about a young boy named Eren Yeager who lives in a village that is walled off from what is considered, “the outside world.” Humanity is walled off because of the deadly titans who kill humans in a gruesome way by consuming them. One day, the titans attack and end up leaving Eren with his own tragedy, the death of his mother. Eren escapes and over the course of a few years, he becomes one capable of defending others

rene.saguin from the creatures that killed his mother. The titans then attack again but this time Eren has some new skills to show off. Unfortunately, one wrong move causes Eren to be eaten, with his arm being the only thing left behind. This story is a series so is Eren truly dead or is this the beginning of a hero? (edited) 3y
rene.saguin If you enjoy books, specifically manga, that showcase a hero who has faced traumatic events and is extremely confident, then Attack on Titan is one to check out. The story leaves you on a cliffhanger, making you eager to find out what is next. Eren is a character who you can have sympathy for which is a unique connection between reader and character. 3y
rene.saguin I‘d say the theme of the novel is Action and Adventure (Character vs Supernatural). This theme is clearly present as almost every page includes some sort of action. The whole story is an adventure of a boy who wants to become one who eliminates titans. Attack on Titan is most definitely a “character versus supernatural” story because titans can‘t be considered anything but supernatural. 3y
MissYaremcio Nicely done Rene! 6/6 3y

Attack on titan 2 was just as good as the first one I loved every bit of it. 5 years after the Titans broke through the wall, Eren finally joins the 104th cadets and works his way through struggling to get in the top 10 of his class. He placed 5th along with Mikasa placing first. And again the Titans break through the wall, They all have to keep the Titans away from hunanity

Attack on Titan, Chapters 113-118 (MangaRock, online)

I was finally able to get caught up on reading the latest online chapters of Attack on Titan - and it was good! At the same time, I also started watching season 3 of the anime - also very good! Can‘t believe the series will be ending soon 😭

My husband and I are rewatching the two seasons that are currently out for Attack on Titan and I've become so obsessed I'm now reading the #manga. It's just as awesome even though I already know what's going to happen due to the #anime! The anime is on Hulu and I highly recommend, although it is slightly scary and rather bloody. But excellent! 👹⚔️

Serotonin The manga series is sooooo good 👍 7y
Mc_cart_ny @Serotonin I'm loving it so far!! I'm three books in and on hold for the next 10 at the library! 7y

#photoadaynov16 day 1: #novembertbr I'd be lying if I said I knew what I wanted to read this month. I let my library holds dictate such things for me! And so these 5 (or 17) books are for sure!
