Melty Grilled Cheese

😳😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱!!!! H-h-how did I not *know* about this place before?!?! For almost an entire *decade*, I was in NYC weekly. And...and...I never knew about this place! #WhatTheDeuce?! NYC is known for awesome eateries: a couple meatball places, mac 'n cheese places, even pb&j joints. Now I find a grilled cheese restaurant, AND THEY SERVE TATER TOTS AS THEIR MAIN SIDE!!! 😱😱😱😱😱!!!! I. Am. Going. There! Who wants to join me & @BookBabe ?!

ultrabookgeek You know I apologize - definitely should have recommended this place before. They are relatively new - maybe 3 years old. I think they have a mini chain. I go to the one in FiDi, they're tots are amazing and they make a mean grilled cheese but I love their tomato basil soup the most with tots for dunking lol 7y

ultrabookgeek @I-read-and-eat the stuff is cheese, more cheese and then a selection of things but mostly jalapeño and something else crunchy. They also have a kicky siracha sauce. 7y

JessieReadsInBK Melt Shop is the BEST!! I love the tots with the Parmesan on top (I think that might be the "stuff"). Next time you go you should get the Nutella milkshake -- to die for!!! 7y
