I loved this story about love, lighthouses, and time. I was enthralled and had difficulty putting it down. ❤️ #MountTBR #LitsyAtoZ #LetterN #USAReading2019 #SouthCarolina

Interesting story. You have to want to believe because it is quite a fantasy.
I really like Tiffany Reisz, and have very high hopes for this one.
THE NIGHT MARK gave my tear glands a workout from the first page on. Reisz is oh so good at taking the reader inside what her characters feel, and the plot gives Faye a hell of a lot to deal with. It broke my heart and delighted me in pretty well equal measure.
I love how Faye's time in 1921 impacts the present, too. Time travel is my favourite because it messes things up, but Reisz plays with that trope from a positive angle. It's wonderful.
I've read everything Tiffany Reisz has published, but I do believe this is the first of her books I've read in print. It came out at a busy time for me, so I waited for a library copy instead of requesting an ARC or buying the ebook on release day as I usually do.
Another awesome book. Romance, time travel, lighthouses...what more could a person want? 😍
This was almost a bail for me, but I stuck it out until the end, and now it falls somewhere between a pan and a so-so. I didn't realize when I added it to my reading list that it was considered a romance, which is not my typical genre. It has a time travel element & was touted as a good book for fans of Kate Morton & Diana Gabaldon.
NOT!
It wasn't a total waste of time, but the writing wasn't spectacular & I didn't like the main character.
I can see how people would like this one. The writing is good. But it totally wasn't for me. This is billed at a mystery with some romance. This is a full out romance novel with a super natural time travel plot. I don't do romance. At. All. There is zero mystery to this one. I'd say pass unless what you're in to is total romance chick lit.
Truth. ❤️ or chocolate
Out for a morning walk with my latest audio.
This book doesn't seem to be doing it for me. I'm going to delve a little further & then decide whether or not to bail (which I rarely do). Has anyone else read this one?
Today's weather is way too beautiful (esp. after all the crappy rain we've had this week) to stay indoors. Continuing #litsypartyofone with a new book and a new hashtag: #audiopruning
I will read anything this woman writes. So excited to start this one as part of my #litsypartyofone ! 💟💙💚
Reisz excels at crafting characters and setting. She develops a love so strong and pure that you can't help but get wrapped up in it! This is truly a story of love, standing the test of time, transcending generations!
