As someone who was already a fan of TPM movie, the book just adds so much more to it. The characters seem more three dimensional, and it‘s overall an extremely enjoyable read.

Well, in this life you're often born one thing and die another. You don't have to accept that what you're given when you come in is all you'll have when you leave.

I've never been a fan of the prequels, but since I've been (finally) watching The Clone Wars during lockdown, a friend recommended I give the novelizations a try. I'm attempting to be open-minded about it. 😂 #starwars

Sunraven Wow, flashbacks and warmfuzzies at the same time. I was terribly obsessed with that movie when it was in theaters. ☺️ 5y

@GoodForCirculation Andrew, thank you soooo sooo much for the box of books you hand delivered to my apartment for the #HelpingHands book drive!!! The kids in the class are going to go absolutely crazy over the Star Wars books. I‘m actually pulling them out of your box and sending it to them today! ❤️❤️❤️Thank you again! And it was so nice to meet you the other day at the #PhillyMeetUp! 😁

TieDyeDude Glad they are going to a good home! 6y

This weeks #TuesdayTidbits had a question about liking movie tie-in covers or not.

I was immediately inclined to say, no, but this cover kept popping into my head... 😍

DGRachel That was the first Star Wars book I ever bought! 6y

Reading a different version this time of the prequel trilogy of #starwars. I‘m enjoying it a lot so far, the details are amazing supplements to the awful movie. On Phantom Menace so far.

So far it is better than the movie. It contains a lot more info and since it describes what the characters are thinking, you get a deeper understanding of what is truly going on. Definitely recommend so far but I haven‘t even gotten halfway through.

DebinHawaii Welcome to Litsy! 🎉📚👍😀Hope you enjoy it here! 6y
Colinschwager Thank you for the warm welcome! Glad to be here, what better way to inspire me to read than seeing others read and appreciate books :) 6y

This is a great Sci-Fi/Science-Fantasy for young readers who love Star Wars. This particular series was very popular when my older was growing up in his classrooms. I remember reading it alongside him when we were little and after rereading it, it was honestly not great for adults because it is so watered down.

Here is a resource for incorporating Star Wars into the classroom

tfundora I feel having books like this in your class room would be great because their are students who love star wars and that would definitely get them to read! 7y

I remember buying this in anticipation of the film. I was so excited. Then so disappointed in the film. Are movie novelisations still a thing?

Literaryunicorn I pretend this prequel didn't happen. I mean... JarJar? Just, no. 7y
IamIamIam Lol... my husband loves film novelizations. I pick on him but he pointed out that they're made from the screenplay which doesn't always end up as the finished product. 7y
TobeyTheScavengerMonk I read this several places online and didn't believe it until I read the book myself: the Revenge of the Sith novelization is a genuinely amazing book that brings power and nuance to the prequels. 7y
Oryx @TobeyTheScavengerMonk Really? Ok, I'll look out for a copy and maybe give it a go. 7y

Really hoped the book would be better than the film. Nope...
