Mehso-so

This book was the far side of So-So and the near side of Pan. This I know: one does not create engagement and suspense by relying solely on awkward metaphors.

Mehso-so

The story was okay, but I disliked the perfomance of the narrator.

Kaye The narration is really important in making a book good. If it‘s not that great, it‘s hard to enjoy the book. 7y
tessavi @Kaye yeah, it was just good enough to keep listening. I was mostly irritated by the dialogues. 7y
Kaye I‘ve read some books that I thought were good, but not great, then listened to them and thought they were terrific. So sometimes, I think some books are better just in print form, while others, if they get the right narrator, can make it even better. I thought that about The Help. It was a good book when I read it, but when I listened to the audio, it was fantastic. It had about 5 people reading the parts, I think, and they were all excellent. 7y
tessavi @Kaye I agree. Some books are also harder for me to follow in audio format. I think I prefer shorter ones in audio, and long books in paper. 7y

Pickpick

This book was an easy book to read. Events in the past need to be investigated in order that the future generation can understand. The plot is interesting and the characters come to life under the pen of jess Ryder
