Happy Good Friday everyone! What are you up to this weekend? #BookishQuestion
1) The used thriller/horror book portion of the store.
2) I have SO many. My favorite might be "If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world." by C.S. Lewis.
3) I've never bought any, but there's a baby shower coming up & I could really use some suggestions. Bonus points if the book is female empowering.
4) @CatConstellations ?

What a terrific book! I loved the 1970's setting. It was refreshing to revisit a world without texts and gadgets. The characters were believable and likable. I read an uncorrected proof from the publisher so didn't have this fancy cover but I loved it!
Set during the 1974 London bombings, this is a fascinating insight into the police investigation processes and public fear the IRA instigated.
Enjoying a lazy Saturday before heading out with friends to dinner. Life is good❣️
