The common thread has built a beautifully written story by Ms. Gudenkauf. It deals with social services from the adult and the child's side and what can easily happen both good and bad.

pickI thought it was pretty good. It‘s about how one simple mistake almost ruined a family‘s life. It is dual perspective and also features a 10 year old girl. For me, the story was well written and pretty easy to get through.
I finally found a book I‘m gonna stick with. The last 2 I tried, I ended up DNFing.
