I‘m finally getting in to it.
💙Contemporary fiction - Lizzy realised how much she has changed being with her overpowering boyfriend. They split after 10 years and she now has to start a new journey by herself

The girls are back at school today and I have my afternoons back for a bit of quiet reading ❤️ I‘ve missed them really!

“Some Kind of Wonderful” is a lovely, comforting read about one woman‘s journey of self-discovery. I enjoyed this story and will keep an eye out for more books by this author – 4 stars!

Overall, an enjoyable, funny, light read with likeable and relatable characters... but it fell a little flat for me. There was no real closure in the ending and Liz was very repetitive in her thoughts of finding herself. I'd be interested in reading more of Giovanna's books to see if they are better. 2.5🌟

Although I can't say this has been the best book I've ever read, I definitely enjoyed taking a break from thrillers for a little bit. Giovanna Fletcher definitely has a brilliant way with words and it was nice to read something so real and relatable. But as far as story lines go, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary and I would have liked there to have been more subplots and a look into the lives of other characters other than simply just Lizzy.

Just starting this book. Here's hoping it's a good one!
