Wow. Never was a truer word spoken by a poet. Last summer was raging bushfires & smoke, this summer has been rain eternal and now raging floods! The top is Lake Conjola NYE19, bottom is the Nepean Railway bridge today. That bridge is normally at least a 20ft drop to the water I think? My land is nuts!

Lizpixie @Crazeedi I know, Australia has some of the worst of it some years. That bridge is now almost under and it‘s still coming down outside. My backyard is now almost a lake.🌧🌧🌧🌧 3y

Lizpixie @Crazeedi @SamAnne how they can still deny it boggles me. I‘ve just heard right now that the river has topped that bridge and is still rising. The rain has not stopped and the dam is releasing 1500 GigaLitres. It only holds 2,000 when it‘s full & that feeds the entire Sydney basin! 3y
