Book #7 in the agent Pendergast series. This finished a trilogy and the reader gets to learn a lot about the private Pendergast in this one. I enjoyed this and a lot of loose ends were tied up quite nicely (although not all...).

This was a pretty good book that filled a slot of #SpooktoberBingo this month for containing Dead in the title. I really enjoyed this book and would have enjoyed it more if I had read more Pendergast novels first. But it was excellent! Except the end. I cant handle these cliche endings. If one more book ends with some variation of I love you, I'm pregnant, or it was all a dream, I might lose it

Spatter. Blood spatter. This is why, as a Criminal Justice major and hardcore true crime enthusiast, I cant just enjoy thrillers. Its the little things that bother me lol

I wish I had known this was part of a series before diving in, but still, its decent. Just enough backstory to let you dive in. Reading it for #SpooktoberBingo and I dont have many others that could take its place

Have been off for a while because I finally moved to Egypt. I found a flat and now I'm trying to set up a cozy reading area in my huge living room. After two stressful weeks I can now enjoy reading again.
By the way I'm living around the corner of Cairo's most famous book store for used books, Al-Maadi Used Books. The owner already says "Hi" every time I'm passing by. I will post some photos of it later on.
