This book is filled with betrayal and a league of rebellion. Amani has been running away from her family, feelings and responsibilities her whole life until she meets a foreigner by the name of Jin. I enjoyed reading this book; however, my only one criticism is more romance! During the whole book I was anticipating for something to happen. The girl I used to be is a mysterious fiction novel that leads to twist and turns. Ariel is a strong independent female lead and I admire her perseverance. Although, murder scenes aren't my genre April Henry captivated my attention. #independentfemale

The Tiger's Curse series by Colleen Houck is action packed entwined with a twisted love triangle that will get readers rooting for Kelsey's and Ren's love team. The Hinduism mythology transports you to India and any adventure Kelsey takes to break the curse. This is one of my top recommended favorite books and I know readers will share the same great experience through Colleen's books.
