Mehso-so

I wish I could give this a pick just for the cool Rat guy and the promise of a snake changeling, and Krychek hanging out with the personified evil psychic internet, but a lot of the load bearing stuff pulls it down just a bit too much. Give that rat a book!

Had a REALLY nasty dream inspired by this book last night, not cool book, just because I think your extremity is a little silly sometimes!

Meanwhile, in the heterosexual mines, I think I've come across the first *acknowledgement* of queerness in these books, 30 or so pages into book 4. Don't worry though, no one is actually gay!!!! (I will say, it is a more matter-of-fact reaction then there could have been for an aughts romance.)

Just truckin along rereading one of the best series ever. I‘m loving it just as much the second time around. There‘s family, danger, behind the scenes conspiracies and I almost love knowing how things are in the future because it makes all these little things stand out the second time through.

I really enjoyed this one! Singh does such a great job with these, advancing the larger storyline, pulling back layers of the larger history in this world, continuing to make the world building more rich with each book. Plus, giving us great couples working through very real issues and traumas as they deal with great mysteries and action filled plots. I‘m still amazed how she balances it all!

Another romance about two people who have been through the wringer and back. (TW for past sexual assault/child abuse.) I certainly enjoyed the romance, but what really pulled me in was the politics/world building developments.

The Psy society and the Silence protocol are fracturing with dissent on the inside and a growing Changeling power base on the outside. Who is the Ghost? How many of the Forgotten are out there? And what will come next?

ScientistSam @Riveted_Reader_Melissa finished this one, and am looking forward to your thoughts on it when you get to it! 3y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa You blew through this one! That‘s great, I shouldn‘t be far behind you! 3y
ScientistSam @Riveted_Reader_Melissa I'm ready to start Hostage to Pleasure! No rush for you, it'll probably take me a bit longer than you to finish. 3y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @ScientistSam Go for it! I‘m about ready too! 3y

This one has trigger warnings all over the place. A rough read, but still an enjoyable book in the series.

This book I find a lot darker than the others, but beautiful at the same time. Clay is a DarkRiver sentinel in danger of going rogue. When an old childhood friend he thought was dead walks back into his life, he agrees to help her find out who has been kidnapping the children that her foundation works with. But now she is back in his life, he isn't going to let her get away.

I LOVE this beautiful cover too 💜

Has anyone here read the newsletter?

Bookworm54 I'm not quite caught up on the series yet, last I read was Heart of Obsidian. However the next book Nalini is releasing in the series is going to be listed as the start of the Psy-Changeling Trinity series, as the story arc is changing direction. The books will now be two word titles. I'm too excited about this information! Haha 8y
LibrarianJen I have not read the newsletter. Is it any good? I'm on Kiss of Snow which I think came out in 2011? So I have quite a bit of catching up to do as well! 8y
Bookworm54 @LibrarianJen I always love her newsletters she sends them out regularly but they always have little snippets of info about each of her series, and a list of her tour dates etc. There is usually an extract from something too. But she usually shares similar info on her Facebook and Twitter accounts. She definitely has a good social media presence 🙂 you can sign up to newsletters on her website. 8y
