BioShock: Rapture | 
It's 3 in the morning here in the UK & instead of doing what I should have done and spent time reading a book, I stayed up trying to get the Platinum trophy for Bioshock on PlayStation.
Proudly defeating the final boss on Survivor difficulty, I waited for my coveted trophy to arrive...... and waited..... and waited.....
Where is mai tropheeeehhhh???!
Turns out the game had cheekily reverted back to a lower difficulty 😭😭😭😭

RaeLovesToRead @DaveGreen7777 Thanks, Dave! It looks like it reverted to Hard right at the beginning... so I have to go right back to the start! There is a way to cheat it by changing to Survivor before the final boss, but there's no satisfaction in that, haha 😅 How is Control? 4y
DaveGreen7777 @RaeLovesToRead I really like Control. 😀 The lore and story is so fascinating, the voice acting is great (especially the lead heroine), and the different powers are a lot of fun. The only problem is that there are some huge difficulty spikes that can make the game frustrating at times. Some of the boss fights in particular would feel right at home in the Dark Souls universe! 😱 4y

The good definitely outweighs the bad in Control, but there was one boss fight on a side quest I had to walk away from for a while as it was getting maddening! (Happy to say I finally beat it though.) What‘s even trickier is that there‘s no difficulty setting on this game, so it can be really punishing at times until you figure the best strategy out! 😩 4y
RaeLovesToRead @DaveGreen7777 Woohoo! *High Five* 😄 I have a big stack of games I need to play before I'm allowed to buy any more, but I'll have a closer look at Control. I'm not bad at games - I have Crash Bandicoot platinum and that's basically furry Dark Souls! 😅 - but for some reason I can't do Souls or Bloodborne... and the more annoyed I get, the worse I play 😵😭 4y
