Whee! A hot afternoon spent poolside. I‘m glad the kids are now water-confident enough that I don‘t have to go in. I mean, I love them and I love to swim but sometimes this mummy needs an hour to myself (don‘t worry I did glance up now and then to make sure they were playing nice and the 5yo wasn‘t struggling)

#seasonsreadings2016 day 1: #wanttoreadindec I always have plans at the start of each month but then get easily distracted especially by ebooks and library books. So here are five (just five!) of my own books that I hope to get through this month. Have you read any of them?
2016, Book 47 "With her feet hovering in a colder, deeper part of the water, Ai Ling could envision the lower regions of the sea, the unknown watery abyss where blind creatures swam, hunted and lived out their existence. Ai Ling suddenly felt infinitesimal, disembodied, her heartbeats insignificant against the mass of countless heartbeats that reverberated in the dark, echoing chamber of the sea."
