Another short and sweet (actually, short and STEAMY) #HolidayRead for #WinterGames. This was the first Lisa Kleypas romance I‘ve read, but I‘ve got one of her longer novels on my shelf — reading this made me excited to get to it! I love a good regency redemption arc. 🥰

Also, this is an #XMasTreeContest submission. I bought it last year from a local artisan and I LOVE it.

It's a Lisa Kleypas book with a scoundrel who falls for a girl who is his exact opposite, what's not to like?

All the best of historical romance distilled into this fun novella. A bad boy (rake) not beyond reform and the spinster with a spine who loved him. While branded "Christmas," it is not actually particularly seasonal so enjoy year round. I haven't been finishing anything full-length this week so this helped me feel accomplished. #romantsy

as this was the last book in my self proclaimed 2016 reading challenge, I feel it warrants a post. Lisa Kleypas was the author who introduced me to a whole genre at 18 and opened me up to other romantic authors such as Eloisa James and Julia Quinn. ❤
