pickMy second completed book for #CloakandDaggerChristmas. This is the start of Maron‘s Sigrid Harald series. First published in 1981, it was a tiny bit dated (with some very inappropriate male behavior) but still entertaining. An unpopular historian and art critic in the art department of an NYC university is murdered with poisoned coffee. Det. Inspector Harald, one of the few woman detectives in her precinct, is on the case.

This month‘s #coffeebeanbookclub package smells so good. Thank you @Avanders ! As usual your gifts are spot on. The decaf smells incredible and I think I‘ll have that tomorrow morning. The stroopies (autocorrected to strippers 3 times 😂) will go good with it. And thanks for the other coffee packs. The #manpanion will love them since he refuses to drink decaf.
The book looks like fun.
