#SeriesRead2022 @TheSpineView

This is book 4 in this series and I'm still enjoying following Wesley through his combined worlds of archaeology and detective work. The historical part of this story involved a skeleton that Wesley thinks might be a Viking.

Another entertaining easy read, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Book 4 of the Wesley Peterson series . A skeleton is found that may be a vmViking funeral, as it's found with remains of a boat surrounding the body. A woman disappears and when her brother comes from Sweden, he's found murdered. Wesley has a mystery to solve, how can a thousand year old grave help him solve the crime?

DS Peterson, amateur archaeologist, is intrigued that a Viking corpse may be buried at a farm site. He has an urgent crime to solve, the disappearance of a Danish tourist. Gerry Heffernan believes the Dane‘s disappearance is linked to brutal robberies. I loved the tie in of the historical Viking story with the present. Murderer was a surprise with lots of suspects. Looking forward to the next book. Recommended.

After a full day at a crime novel festival, what do you do? You go home and have to start reading crime, because that‘s the way you were built! ❤️🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Here‘s the schedule for the Group Read of The Funeral Boat, the fourth book in the Wesley Peterson Series by Kate Ellis. This group Read is taking place on Librarything and all are welcome to join. This is a good murder mystery series, that always has a strong historical / archaeological series. Wesley Peterson is a great character.

Added humour is a bonus. Wesley is up for promotion, whuch is just as well because Gerry sometimes acts like Wesley is the senior officer rather than himself.
