Had to buy another physical copy of this book because I lost my copy. How does one even loose a book this big? And no I didn‘t lend it out or leave it somewhere. Did it just sprout legs and walk away? Also this is one of my all time favorite book series.

On my 3rd time reading this thing within 3 years. Looks like it‘s becoming a yearly thing to reread this series. I mean hey, it‘s only my all time fav fantasy series.

Finally found a perfectly formatted version and added to kindle. Amazon did not have it in the complete edition and I would have had to get them book by book. Time to reread this, as it is my favorite fantasy series.

So, I picked this up after it sat on my shelf for over a year (I kept pushing it back for favorite authors) but I'm enjoying it a lot. It's huge, but the individual books are short, so I'm slogging through.

This is my long list for The Second Annual Science-Fiction and Fantasy February(a thing I made up).

Any suggestions for what to read from here?
#sfff

James I thought Spin was great. The Goblin Emperor was good. 8y
Simona Sabriel‼️ 8y
Waynegjr I'm really looking forward to Spin. I've never read Wilsons books before. 8y

Waynegjr Sabriel looks like so much fun. That might be to make the short list. Plus, my stack is a little light on fantasy. 8y
JDHawkins The Goblin Emperor was awesome. I have The Hike at home to read as well! 8y
Waynegjr @JDHawkins I read the first couple of pages of The Goblin Emperor. Do you get over the thees and thous pretty quickly? 8y
JDHawkins @Waynegjr It takes a bit. 8y
jordanerickson Shadow and Claw is awesome but it is also dense and difficult, be sure and give it some time 8y
Waynegjr @jordanerickson Noted. I might put it off for the purposes of #sfff, or I might just read the first half, which is it's own book I think. It's been on my TNT shelf forever. 8y

My first ever #scifi book which I read when I was in my early teens. I loved it! There was no internet then so I didn't know any better when it came to the sexism and misogyny. It's what was done in movies and TV often, so I just thought it was usual plotting. I'll have to re-read to see how I feel about it now!

(This was unearthed from my book collection under my bed at home in the 🇵🇭)

#booktober catchup: 25 was I Like Big Books. I do! Generally, a big book is a plus, in fiction I almost feel like I'm cheating if it's less than 250 pages. With YA this is obviously extra true.

Just read that Robert Kirkman is adapting "The Chronicles of Amber" for TV. ? Zelazny, gone too soon, deserves the recognition. ? Happy
